Many people don’t think of Williamsburg when thinking about their summer vacations, but in reality it’s a fantastic option for families with children. Only five minutes away from Busch Gardens Williamsburg as well as Water Country, USA, a gigantic water park, this destination has so much to offer. It has a fascinating historic area where you can learn the about our founding fathers. The fife and drum parades along with colonial games and costumes will surely keep the little ones entertained and Williamsburg has quality accommodations that will pretty much meet your every need!
Best Family Summer Vacations #2 – Grand Canyon, Arizona
Everyone says it’s one of those places where pictures just don’t do it justice. So why not take this summer as your chance to have you and your family experience it for yourselves? Absolutely breathtaking views, burro rides, kayaking and rafting will impress any nature buff. The over-the-canyon helicopter rides are also something you shouldn’t miss out on. The South Rim is more aimed towards children with several hotels, services and activities to keep everyone happy.
