Arizona Family Vacations #1 – Scottsdale
Scottsdale is a fabulous option for a family vacation. There is an abundance of activities that will keep bot the grownups and the kids happy on this trip. Scottsdale is home to wonderful museums, an award-winning zoo, and only minutes away lies the state’s biggest remake of a Western town from the 1880s. There is also Butterfly wonderland, an indoor rainforest environment that holds America’s largest butterfly pavilion. There are also touch pools, aquariums, live ant colonies and a honey bee display. This one attraction alone is sure to delight the little ones!
Arizona Family Vacations #2 – Phoenix
Phoenix is another popular vacation destination. While the abundant sunshine may make you never want to leave the pool, there’s so much to see and explore in this beautiful city. There’s the Desert Botanical Garden that has over 50,000 desert plants on display and five trails to take guided tours through that focus on the life in the desert, the plants and the people of the Sonoran Desert. With plenty of hiking trails, that’s always an option for a little family bonding as well. An indoor racetrack (with electric karts) is sure to ramp up your kids’ adrenaline if that’s more their speed. Either way, Phoenix has plenty to keep you and your family entertained.

No matter what anyone says, the Grand Canyon is one of those things that everyone has to see at least once in their lifetime. The pictures don’t do it justice and there just aren’t enough words in the English language to describe it. With plenty of hiking, burro rides, helicopter rides and camping in general, you and the kids can “rough it” in one of the world’s most iconic places. There’s plenty of lodging nearby and trust us, there is MORE than enough to do here to keep everyone happy. The Grand Canyon should be a top pick when considering Arizona family vacations.

Just because you’re on a family vacation doesn’t mean that the luxury accommodations that come with an adults-only vacation have to be sacrificed.
