The Primerica scam has fooled many people in their own words into believing they can become rich by selling their products. Primerica is a company that claims to be affiliated with Citi group. Citi group decided to cut ties with Primerica in 2009. The company believed that Primerica no longer shared their vision for success.
Primerica recruits anyone who is willing to pay their membership fee, and tells their recruits they can be a millionaire by selling their products to people who need them. Primerica still likes to claim they are associated with Citi group to boost their credibility. Millions of people say that they have fallen for what they consider the Primerica scam.
How Do People Say The Primerica Scam Works?
Representatives for Primerica approach people while they are shopping, hanging with friends, or doing mundane tasks to try and sell them the Primerica scam. They ask unsuspecting people how they feel about keeping their options open when making money.
This question is meant to start a dialogue between the person and the Primerica representative. The Primerica spokesperson then proceeds to tell the person who they work for and how much money they make.
The conversation ends when the spokesperson invites the interested individual to an information meeting to find out more about the company.
Why People Think That Primerica Scam Is Real
People claim the Primerica scam works by using a pyramid scheme. The information meeting is held in a rented conference room. Senior members of the company who claim to be there for a different meeting greet the guest.
The people over the meeting gather their guest contact information. Guest who choose not to become members are later contacted by representatives who try to convince them to change their mind. They then attempt to motivate their guest by telling them how long they have been with the company and how much money they make.
When they are done talking about themselves, they show a video that talks about how their products are affiliated with Citi group. They talk about their representatives traveling to different locations to make business deals. The senior members of the group will be in the other room and cheer at random times, to appear they are celebrating something.
It seems that their goal is to make the Primerica scam appear believable.
When the presentation is over, the company representatives continue to tell their guest how good it is to work for Primerica.
While waiting for license approval, new recruits continue the process by going out to recruit new people. They are paid a small fee for getting new people to join the business. There are many people that say the “Primerica scam” is a pyramid scheme, and it will eventually fall apart when people realize they are being hoodwinked.
