How To Create A Blog On Empower Network

Lots of people are put off blogging as they think that they cannot write or that they lack the “techie” skills that they need to create a blog…
But Empower Network have created a blogging platform that is as easy to use as posting a post on Facebook.
So if you can copy and paste and can post on Facebook, then you have all the necessary skills that you need to be able to create a blog using the Empower Network platform.
And for the busy bees amongst you, there is even an app now that you can download onto your phone…meaning that you can blog on the go.
So here’s a step-by-step account of how to create blog with Empower Network after signing into your account.
Step 1
Press on the text icon which is the 1st icon displayed as a nib of a fountain pen.
Step 2
Copy and paste the title of your blog from your word document into the title segment of your blog.
Step 3
Copy and paste the content body of your blog. ( Important: Remember to include a strong call to action within your blog).
Step 4
Save draft by clicking on the “save draft” icon at the bottom of your blog.
Step 5
Go back into your blog by clicking on the pencil icon at the top of the blog.
Step 6
Insert an image. Select where you want to insert the image and press on the “add image” icon, which is the last icon of all at the top of your blog (after the “A” icon.)
Continue to download your image.
N.B. your image will need to be a minimum of 260×260 PX
Step 7
Bold any text that you want to stand out.
Step 8
Create some links within your blog by highlighting the relevant text and clicking on the link icon (the link icon is featured to the left of the “A” icon).
Step 9
Proof read your blog
Step 10
Go into the drop down menu called “add member names or product purchase groups.”
Select your desired group(s)
Step 11
Select which blogging domain name you want to publish the blog under by going into the “Please select blog” drop down menu
Step 12
Type up to 8 keywords into the meta title tag section. Keywords are phrases that people are likely to use when searching for your information on the search engines,
Using the free Google Ad words keyword planner can be a great way of identifying the best keyword searches within your niche. You need to ensure that you have included the best keywords into your blog.
Step 13
Insert a short intro into what your blog is about within the Meta description section.
Step 14
Hit the “publish” button.
Congratulations you have published your first blog which you can then view by going into the “my blog” section within the drop down menu underneath your name at the top right hand side of your screen.
Important:Check to ensure that your links are working by clicking on the links within your blog.
