But you just have to be smart and to avoid this stupidity if you carry still carry your unborn child. What are the risks of tattooing during pregnancy?
First and foremost is the risk of hepatitis b and HIV infection from less than sanitary tattoo shop equipment.
During the process of tattooing your body reacts to the pain and shock. The natural protection of your organism is to produce and pump more adrenaline. Your heartbeat is increased, your skin is sweating and your body fights with the intense process of getting a tattoo. This adrenaline and shock can cause premature birth because you never know how your body is going to react. Therefore, it is not recommend even to think about getting a tattoo while you are pregnant. Your newborn is far more important than your desire to express your feelings, good or bad, and reveal to the rest of your world your emotional condition.
In addition, the tattoos are susceptible to infection if you don’t manage to apply the proper care for them. All tattooists give general advices on how to take care of your tattoo, but they just can’t give you real guarantee. Many unpleasant infections can occur due to lower hygiene or other important factors like used ink and etc. If something goes wrong it will be really hard for your organism to take care for your baby and the infection at the same time. The lack of enough energy and valuable substance can cause the spreading of the infection and it can reach your baby at some point. Therefore, save all healthy elements and substances for your baby and just wait a little bit.
There are few people who will encourage you to go ahead and to get a tattoo. Most likely they are not your real friends and just want to laugh at your expense. Just realize that there is nothing more important in the world than to have health and beautiful child. So, just don’t make any experiments, even small tattoos, and only think about for the health of your baby. When there is no pregnacy involved, there are many cool reasons to get a tattoo.
