“Give Me Money” –If Only it Were That Easy

Most people are afraid to say ‘give me money’, why is that?

Think about this. If you never ask for money, how are you ever gonna get it? Obviously it’s not as simple as just going up to someone and asking them to give you money. But what if it was?

If I were to tell you to give me money, the first thing you would probably say is “yea right!” or if you didn’t wanna hurt my feelings, “I don’t have any”. Lucky for you, I am not gonna ask you to give me money, although you’re free to do so at any time you wish.

While doing some research on the internet I found this thing called cyber-begging, which is exactly as it sounds. “Give me money!” that’s what I have seen when people ask for money online and that’s what I have heard when someone is about to get mugged (totally different subject). Although I have nothing against cyber-begging, it’s not my style.

Usually people give money in exchange for something they need or want, right? If you had something someone needed or wanted, look how easy it is to say something like, “I’ll give this to you and in exchange, you give me money.” The person that needs or wants what you have will be more than happy to give you money. You’re probably saying “well yea, it’s called selling”. So what’s the difference between selling and trading? Nothing.

I came up on a concept a while back that taught me something. It is easier to receive money and ask for it when you separate yourself from it emotionally. If you have no emotional connection to it, it’s not a big deal when you receive it or spend it.

If you want to get money, it can really be as simple as telling your friend, “It’s time for you to give me money”. Ok maybe not that easy, but you get the picture. . .

It’s funny how most people have this idea that making money is difficult. If I were to ask these people to give me money, what kind of reaction do you think I would receive? They’ll probably think I’m crazy. It wouldn’t be the same reaction if I had something they wanted, right?

What is what most people want more of? Most people want more money. Ok so am I saying give me money and in exchange I’ll give you money? That’s not what I’m saying. Ever heard of this old saying: “Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime.”

Get it?

Give me money and I’ll teach you. lol Just kidding. Let me teach you how to fish (metaphorically speaking) so that you can go out and catch all the fish you want.
