Cant Figure Out What You Should Do For Valentines Day?
First off, me being a woman I have had great Valentines Day’s and not so great Valentines Day’s. So if your a guy looking for a good idea of what to do for your girl I hope I can help you find what’s right. Or at least give you an idea.
Simple Valentine’s Day Ideas
I am a simple farm girl, so this section would be my true area of expertise. I look at all things that are simple and realize it is the very thought that counts every time something is done for me. Do some of these simple tips to get your woman primed for the great night you have planned. Here are some ideas…..
Bring Her Flowers (obvious but works)
Roses aren’t everything! Don’t just stop by a flower shop randomly and ask for some great flowers. Actually pick them out yourself and ask the florist to arrange them in a great vase for you.
When your picking the flowers out, think of your lady and pick out the flowers that you think best fit her personality. In other words if the looks and colors remind you of her, then pick those ones out.
Don’t worry about the colors, size or type of flower. Just choose some really great ones.
Do Something Simple To Help Her Out
This is probably one of the best gifts a man can give his lady, not only on Valentine’s Day but any day of the year.
Simply do something for her that gives her less to do one day…….
Do the dishes (most women secretly hate doing dishes)
Even if its only a few dishes, if there done and out of the way, it seems like a huge task that she wont have to do later.
Fold Laundry
As women, this seems like a never ending job to us and if for just one day we dont have to fold the laundry…… we are more than happy
Clean a Room In The House
Try making sure the living room is all cleaned up for when she comes home. Then have some popcorn and a movie ready so you guys can relax and spend time together. If the living room is clean, she wont be thinking she needs to get it cleaned up before she does anything else.
If You Have Kids – Take them out while she has an hour to relax
Sometimes we just need some peace and quiet. If your woman stays home all day with the kids while you work, then try to take the kids somewhere for an hour to let her relax and get some quiet for a bit. Don’t worry, she will be happy when you guys get home. (secretly we crave peace and quiet, but we also miss you guys when your gone!)
The Real Stuff
Ok guys, here we go….
These are some ideas for evening time, when you can get her alone and treat her to a great night as a couple.
Early Evening
Here is when you already have the few simple ideas already in place and you have already made her happy and got her a bit relaxed.
You want this to be a surprise so now ask her to get herself ready, if she needs to take a shower, get dressed etc. Tell her what type of clothes she should wear for your night out, fancy, casual etc. Wait for her to get ready, dont rush her and let her take her time. If she knows its a surprise it may not take her that long to get ready, but be patient.
Time To Go
Still keep it a surprise of where you are taking her or what your doing for the evening.
Ideas of What To Do:
- Take her to a fancy dinner
- Take her bowling
- Take her for a ride on a tractor (if your a country couple)
- Take a cruise around town and talk about the teenage years
- Take her to the place you met (if its a good memory)
- Go for a walk in the park
- Take her to a great place out in the country, build a fire and have a camp cookout for a while.
