Business Building Series Day 17

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

As you may be aware by now, business building is an ongoing process. Your website or location visitors are always in flux.

This means you and your business must keep up or risk becoming irrelevant to your customers.

As Bob Dylan so famously said “Times they are a changin.”

If you want your business to stay current then you must be willing to change to meet the ever-changing needs of your customers and clients.

Randy Gage’s latest best-seller book is titled “Ricky is the New Safe”.

Believe me, it’s a real eye opener to the very real possibilities of how things may change in the very near future.

 Business Building Tip #17

Most people want to learn something new. They like to keep on top of what is going on currently. With things changing so fast it can be a challenge for your business.

But your business website visitors will stay tuned in to your website or business blog if you offer to save them time by providing information about subjects they are interested in keeping up with.

Your business site visitors may want to learn how to do their own oil changes on their cars.   Maybe  they want to build a deck. Or they want to learn more about computers, or blogging, or affiliate marketing.

In fact, with the economy always in turmoil, and traditional jobs disappearing every day; tens of thousands of people are searching for online and work from home opportunities.

This can make them feel more intelligent. It helps them to engage in new hobbies and experiences by giving them the information they want with out spending too much time searching for it.

For example, you could publish a lot of how-to articles on your web site. They would obviously need to be about things your target audience wants to learn about.

If you can teach them how to make money working from home by starting an online business, you will build a faithful following for your business.

The bottom line is, people crave information but don’t want to be smothered under a ton of information overload. Survey your business site visitors and let them tell you want they want. Then find a way to give it to them.

Today I want you to think about how you can more fully engage your business visitors.

Hope this helps.

Now go sell something.
