Six Pack Abs

Six Pack Abs the Ultimate Goal

Don’t you just love how magazines show men and women with six pack abs right before the weather starts to get hot. I don’t :-) But I also can’t lie, I did fantasize about how great I’d look in a tiny little black dress if I had her abs. The good news is I have been able to achieve my tight little six pack a few times but keeping it is another story.

Here are the key factors to getting and keeping your six pack abs:

  • DIET
  • EXERCISE
  • DIET

If you’re trying to figure out why diet is listed twice it’s because it’s more important, however the more ab workouts you’ve gotten in your routine, the higher you’ll be at utilizing your instincts to build and keep that six pack.

Training abs requires loads of exhausting work and determination. Out of all the muscle tissues, abs are probably the least enjoyable to coach, however they’re additionally the very first thing to get seen if you’re out flaunting your belly.

Strong and defined abs are the cornerstone of a really perfect physique. Correctly trained abs will help you be extra aggressive in sports, they’ll make it simpler things you do on a daily basis like got to work or house chores. Additionally, Six pack abs makes sex extra exciting. Plus it can all be achieved for just a few minutes a week!

I like to recommend coaching your abs every other day, after an intense cardio workout. All you must do is select two or three completely different workouts and carry out four to five sets of ten to 12 reps for every exercise.

However, no amount of exercise will give you that stunning six pack if you have a layer of fat covering it. You might want to get your body fat all the way down to about ten percent or much less before your six pack abs become visible. This can only be done through proper diet. So make sure to consistently eat properly and do a variety of cardio. I often inform people that the most effective exercise for abs is walking an hour a day or jogging.

But I really want to see my Six Pack Abs

Well, I’ve got two words for you. Circuit Training! If you aren’t familiar with this form of exercise please take note it’s HIGH intesity followed by moments of rest. Let me clarify this a bit more. Circuit training is an efficient and difficult type of training. It really works effectively for creating strength and endurance for both aerobic and anaerobic activities. It also improves overall flexibility and coordination.

Circuit training sessions consist of a series of strength and cardio exercises repeated two or three times with little or no rest between sets. Perform the circuit training exercises one after another with as little relaxation as possible. As soon as you have finished the primary round, relax for 60 to 90 seconds or a bit longer should you need it. Then do another round! Only if you can handle it.

If you do this high intensity workout at least four times per week and you manage your diet, you’ll be on your way to six pack abs in no time.

I want Six Pack Abs and Food

Look you can’t have it all. Here is where you need to make a choice, and a serious one for that matter. If you think you look sexy when grease is rolling down the side of your mouth from all that extra mayo then choose food. However if you think wearing a muscle shirt and a skimpy bathing suit is sexy, choose the gym. Six pack abs aren’t made over night if you’re already flabby.

Sure those commercials P90x and Insanity show you before and after pictures immediately but just imagine if they came out with a DVD called 200 hours of sweat and pain for these six pack abs. Would you buy it? Exactly, I didn’t think so. So make a choice. If you’re already over weight and you want to start work towards the goal of having a flat stomach, I strongly suggest that you start watching what you eat.

I know from personal experience that the Atkins diet works wonders to shed fat and also helps you keep lean muscle mass. The only problem I had with Atkins is I don’t like eating a lot of meat and I’d prefer to have fruits and vegetables. However, Atkins does keep it simple by the fact you are aware that you need to limit your carbs. So no bread, no rice, no pasta.

After it’s all said and done there really is no magic pill or diet that is going to give you what you’re after. However, patience, will power, consistency in your workouts and diets will give you the desired six pack abs.
