HELLO , in this decimalsinstallment…DECIMALS

12.005 is 12 and 5 thousands

12.025 is 12 and 25 thousands

Add and Subtract decimals…

1. line up decimal point

2. add or sub.

3. bring the decimal point straight down

Multiply and dividing decimals

Multiply rules…

1. multiply the two numbers as whole number ignoring the decimal pt.

2. find the total number of decimal places in the numbers being multiplied

3. count the total number of decimal places in the answer starting from the right and place the pt. there.

.0056

x .043

=  .0002408

Dividing decimals…

Two ways dividing decimals by whole numbers and dividing decimals by decimals

Dividing by whole number…

1. Divide by number that follows the divide sign 12 by 25 is 25 into 12

2. place the decimal point in the answer directly above the decimal point in the dividend

2.08

12 /25.          See that just move the Decimal point straight up

Dividing by other decimals…

1. move decimal point in divisor all the way to the right

2. move decimal point in dividend same amount of places to the right

3. place decimal point in answer directly above one in dividend

4. divide as though both numbers were whole numbers

I like the G.E.D. practice books if help is needed with school work, even if you stay in school. Maybe these books will reach you and teach better that the paid teachers at your school. One thing a book can not tell you,”if your not getting it by now , you are never going to get it.”, yes a real bitch of a teacher did tell me this, as I asked for her help with a math problem, like these decimals.

I was in the last high school class to not have to take a test to qualify for the first degree diploma. So I earned a first degree diploma even though I could have been a lot more knowlegeable about the school subjects.

Luckily I had the prudence to buy a prep book, study guide for the G.E.D..

I was 20 then, and I loved learning from this manual. It really reached me better than a live teacher,

Do you know that those memory builder programs can really help as well.

This is what I am doing now…WORKHOMEEASY.INFO
