Story telling makes a connection

Story telling

Story telling can help make a connection between you and other people, because often times they can relate to what you went through.  The more emotional the story, the stronger the connection!    People begin to think that they know you a little better and begin to trust you.

It is like the movies, when you go you get absorbed with the story line and you feel what the main characters are feeling.  The same goes when reading a book, it is almost as if you take the place of the characters.  Just like that, story telling creates engagement especially when it is authentic.  So when you are telling your story let it come out naturally, as emotional engagement is more important as the content.

As an affiliate marketer, more high level marketers, do just that.  Look at Anthony Morrison, he engages you about his story about his Dad loosing all of his retirement money when he was in college.  Look at David Wood and Dave Sharpe, each of them have shared their stories of struggle, both were homeless, and one dealt with the effects of alcoholism!

My story is different from many people.  My husband at the age of 47, developed progressive Multiple Sclerosis!  One of my kids was going into highschool, and another was going into sixth grade.  We noticed it, when my husband started walking like a duck!  He said his legs felt like each carried 50 pounds of weight!  Life in my household changed drastically for me!  I became in charge of everything and everybody.  My husband loss the use of his legs within two years and is bedridden!  I have become his caregiver!

My life was turned upside down.  I was going through menopause, raising teenage boys, and my husband was disabled, and I was in charge of his total care!  Today, the disease still progresses, he has very limited use of his arms and hands, no use of his legs, and he suffers from the worse pain known to mankind, Trigeminal Neuralgia!  This Trigemenial hits the three nerves of the face and causes excrutiating pain.

There are times I feel resentful that I am a caregiver, and other times I am grateful that my husband is able to stay at home and I am able to take care of him!  Working with Empower Network allows me to stay at home and be there for my husband.  It allows and gives me a peace of mind, that I am there when my husband needs me!

I know I take good care of my husband, but it is very tough to be a caregiver!  I try to take care of myself by exercising and going out for a while.  I never stay away for too long..  Now I know my story, is probably different from a lot of other people, but my situation made me look at options that allowed me to stay at home and make money.  Empower Network has allowed me to do that!  Maybe you do not like your current job, or you want to be able to spend more time with family and friends.  Maybe you need to do something different!  Check out Empower Network, you’ll be pleasantly surprised!  Click on the link below!
