Blogging for beginners can be very intimidating unless you know how to avoid beginners mistakes!!! One of the very first mistakes, is I did not make my blog look very good! So let us resolve that issue. For a newbie blogger, you may think it is important to have big paragraphs, with relatively spacing between. You may not think to use images, or video, and you may not know how to do proper SEO.
So check out my blog, notice the image above and how it correlates to the topic that I am addressing. Your images and your video should be relevant. If you click to the left hand corner of your image, you will see a picture, click on that and enter your keyword on the title, alt text, and caption. Then you will click update!
If you want to find out about more blogging tips click on the highlighted text! Video helps people to stay longer on your site. Go to youtube, type in the search bar for the relevant topic, view the video and if you like it click on share, then click embed, and then highlight and copy the code. The code will then be pasted on the text part of your blogsite. Go back to visual and update. You now have a video on your website! People love videos!!!!
Make sure you space out your paragraphs, when blogging. It looks much nicer. So put enough space between images, content, offers, and videos. Many new blogger do not do this! So avoid that mistake. Also, make sure you deliver quality content on your blog. Answer the question for the reader. Provide great information!!!! The reason why the reader is on your site is to get their questions answered!!!
Make sure your autoresponder is connected with your blog. My autoresponder is AWeber. An autoresponder collects the email addresses that people have inputed, and it allows you to build an email list and to send messages to your list. You can send information on other products you want to sell. My recommendation is to send valuable information for the first four emails, than on the 5th email send them a link about the product you want to sell.
Your email list will respond much better to your offers, if you don’t flood them with offers. Give them valuable information, then they will trust you, when you do offer them your link for your products!!!
