When starting out, it helps to know some of blog writing tips that can make your blogs more effective. Writing should be natural, you do not want to use high level language that will bore your audience. Write as if you are telling a story. Just let it flow!
What should be the length
If you are blogging daily, vary your length. If it takes you only 300 words to get your point across, than 300 words it should be. If you need to write over 1000 words, then do what you need to do. The point is, do not have blogs the same word length. A lot of bloggers like to stick with the 500 word length, but I say switch it up! It looks more natural that way to google.
Break it up!!
This blogging hint is important, because if you have long paragraphs, the reader gets bored easily, and will become overwhelmed with the amount of information placed before them. Try to get to the point and make it easy for your reader to get what they need. Try to use headings for various points, to allow your reader to scan you article to see if it has the content they need.
Create for greater attention span
Let’s face it, the reader does not want to waste their time. Attention span can be very short. So a great blog writing hint is to tell a short story, not write a whole novel! Yes, have great content, because it is all about the content. Give value to your readers, and answer the question that they searched for.
It’s all about the story!
When telling your story, make sure you have visual appeal. Use relevant pictures, and videos. Some of the things you can write about for the reader is………solve a problem, give a review about a product, or restaurant, or book, or movie. The point is you are giving your reader the information they want!
