Steven Suchar

Leaving comments on other people's blogs to collect leads sounds like a waste of an afternoon, and Steven Suchar makes it slightly less so with two pieces of advice most people skip. Check the date on the posts before you bother, because a dead forum will never send you anybody, and install a toolbar that shows you the standing of the site you are looking at so you can spend your effort where it counts.

The rest of the blog runs on an odd, ornamental style. Ideas sparkle, leads get corralled, a concept is a wrap. It takes a paragraph or two to tune into and then reads perfectly well.

The recurring argument is that this is a job rather than a pastime, and that most people cannot say what they are working towards. He leans on the familiar study about students who wrote their goals down.

Twelve posts. Take the blog commenting advice, ignore the study, and note that his writing is more careful than the titles suggest.
