Meditation for a Beginner
Kiana Wild
In today’s society, we are so busy that we forget about the more important and essential things in life. We focus more on our earthly needs, like water and clothes; however, we tend to neglect the significance of having inner peace. Without inner peace, some may feel lost, confused, and tire easily. This is one of the main focuses of meditation. Meditation allows the person to listen to his/her senses, as they attempt to understand their thoughts. Even more notably it offers your body more energy to do the mundane tasks of everyday life.
Meditation should be one of those things that is integrated into your daily routine.
Meditation for a Beginner
Even as a beginner you will feel the benefits that affect your spirit, it will renew it and help transform it into a more strong and active spirit. Not only does meditation improve your well being, it also allows you to reflect on your life and learn more about yourself. Socializing is an essential part of our lives and by understanding yourself; you will be better equipped to build new and lasting relationships with others. Meditation can be used as a compass to direct you through even the cloudiest of nights, as long as you are willing to learn to focus and concentrate.
Here is a meditation for beginners that will encourage your consciousness to enter realms that cannot be explained by the scientific domain. This will help you escape difficulties and fatigue. As you continue to meditate, keep a journal and observe the changes that happen and how you start to see things differently from before.
Before we begin to meditate, it is best that you find a quiet and comfortable place where you can reflect without interruption. You can do this in any position that helps you remain focused and relaxed, whether that is sitting in a chair, on the floor, or lying down. Now close your eyes and shut the world out, this is important. You may ask, why close my eyes? It is a way that can help lead your attention in the direction of your internal awareness, which in this case, is the main goal of meditation. If your eyes are not closed then the sense of seeing will devour the energy that would have been used for your sense of focus. However, there are some meditation techniques that require your eyes to be open, but the effectiveness of those techniques are less than those that require your eyes to be closed. Relax.
This is also essential for meditating. Watch the space and the darkness. Focus on the thoughts that enter your mind. Watch how your thoughts will rise and fall. Now your subconscious becomes more lively and aware. Repeat the mantra, Amaram hum madhuram hum. It is an effective mantra that will help keep you focus and means,
“I am immortal, I am blissful.”
The space which you are looking into is reigned by the Knower, who is of space and is characterized by immortality and bliss.
Meditation for a Beginner
After the meditation for beginner, give warmth to your face by rubbing your hands together and touching them to your face. This will help your return to your daily activities. I recommend you do this meditation for at least ten minutes, two times a day. Ideally at the start and end of your day to help your inner spirit recharged. This will also help lessen your worries and prepare you to meet life’s challenges.
