As a Major League baseball player, I have to tell you that I know what works now for me every day. It’s mostly doing what I love on the field, and that is playing ball. I am so fortunate in that I get to do what I love and get paid for it.

However, when I am NOT on the field, I think about my future, and when I retire from baseball and what my life will be like. Sure, I went to college and have a degree, but at the end of the day I still have to make my own future.

I had to take a look at how things have changed, and what works now is building an online business. Think about how many brick and mortar organizations have changed the way they do business, and the resources they used to do so.

The change has been taking place for quite some time, but we just somehow overlooked it I guess in an effort to tell ourselves that the world is still warm and personal. It isn’t; it’s more about keeping things low cost, and keeping things as easy as possible.

It is still possible to provide personal service, so don’t leave that out. However, it doesn’t mean that you cannot build relationships online with potential customers, and when talking about network marketing, you need to remember that you will always be team building. Growing a business online can help you do that, and connect you to people in other states and countries.

If you want to know whats working now, it’s building and online presence, but it’s also building relationships. You can do the two simultaneously, and I finally learned how, when I didn’t think it was possible.

I am in my mid-thirties and I am just now learning this, so don’t feel bad! I know folks that are older than me that are still trying to grasp this new online philosophy, but be rest assured it works folks. It really does work!
