Why Am I Broke?
Have you ever found yourself asking this question?
Are you still asking this question?
Maybe you are looking at your financial situation and thinking that you can’t see a way out.
There is something I have discovered about being broke!
Why Am I Broke?
It all starts in the mind. I was listening to a conference call from David Wood (the hippy looking guy in the picture on the right) recently and one of the things he was sharing was the difference between a rich person and a poor person.
According to him, the difference is purely their mindset.
Their approach to getting money or resources.
A poor/broke person says, ‘I have no money!’ A rich person says, ‘Even though I don’t have the money right now, I will find the money from somewhere. Then they will come up with the money
So if you are wondering why you are working a job (or maybe two), you are working every under hour under the sun and you still can’t afford the things you want, you may need to address your mindset.
For a start, there is power in your words! How much time do you spend confessing with your mouth that you are broke?
STOP! Don’t keep asking ‘Why am I broke?’
What you confess with your mouth affects your unconscious mind. The spoken word is so powerful.
For years I asked myself, this same question, ‘Why am I broke?’
Then there came a point where I started to learn about the power of my words and started to speak differently. It truly chnaged my approach. I found I no longer wallowed in self-pity but began to look for a way to change my situation. That ultimately changed the course I was on.
So….
WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP BEING BROKE?
1. Start to confess that you are wealthy or that you have money! Maybe even set a goal of how much you would like to earn and speak it out loud every day.
2. Make a decision that you are going to find a way to change your situaton.
3. Make a plan of what you are going to do to change your situation – may I at this point make a suggestion? This is something I have personally discovered that has helped me change my financial situation. CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE
4. Take action! Whatever you have written down and planned to do, do it!
Nothing will happen unless you actually act on what you have planned.
One of the biggest things that will stop you asking ‘Why am I broke?’ and I learnt this from a guy called Chris Record, is changing the way you phrase your question.
Instead of asking ‘Why am I broke?’ try asking, ‘What can I do to get more money?’
You will soon find your self becoming inventive or because you are unconsciously thinking about this you may stumble upon some gem for extra income.
Wherever you are at, just know that there is a way out. There is always hope!
Why not take action today!
