I was reading a book earlier today called The Prayer for Abundant Favor by Clarence L. Blasier. This is a very short read but it talks a lot about how God favors his children with abundant and inherent favor. It says, “abundant favor, as used here, can be defined as unusual favor, or favor that is out of the ordinary. It is an added measure of favor. Inherent favor, on the other hand, is what is received based on your position and relationship with God, providing you have one.
As you can see from both types of favor, there is something that must be done to receive an over flow of blessings from God. It you want to receive wealth in your life, there are certain measures you have to take as well.
First of all, attracting wealth isn’t just about money. It’s about having richness in all areas of your life. It’s important to understand that attracting wealth has to do mostly with your mindset. If you shift your mindset and start focusing on abundance, focusing on resolutions and not problems, and setting a plan to take action, you will receive health, happiness, and peace in your life.
I used to be one of those people who was never satisfied with what I had. I always wanted more and could never understand why certain people received WAY more than I had. I later learned that thinking that way is why I never got what I desired. You see, you have to understand what attracting wealth really means. Showing appreciation for what you have and helping others that may have less than you, is what really counts.
You may have heard the saying “I may not be where I want to be, but at least I’m not where I used to be.” Be grateful that you have a roof over your head even if it’s a small one. Be grateful that you have a vehicle to get from A to B even if it’s old. Start being thankful for all that you have, and watch how much more you will receive. Watch all the favor that will be bestowed upon you. If you change your mind, you can change your entire life.
