Does MLM Network Marketing works? My Honest Personal Experience

I always hear really bad comments

about MLM or Network marketing

companies, especially when you tell

your family and friends that you just got into one.

People for some reason have a

very bad impression of what that industry offers.

But is it really that bad?!

Today, I want to share with you

my experience working in this

industry.

The first time MLM Network Marketing industry

knocked on my door

It was back in 2006. I had just

graduated from high school in my

hometown in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

I saw an Ad at the newspaper about

a job opportunity, so I decided to go

for an interview. Once I got at the place,

there were approximately over fifty persons

waiting outside the room already.

They gave me a paper to fill out

with my personal information, and

there was something very curious

about the people working in that place,

ALL OF THEM WERE SMILING ALL THE TIME

Which made me think it was a

positive work environment.

After thirty minutes, they allowed us to get in.

It was a room filled with chairs.

We all sat down, and a guy came out

at the front of the room. The guy was smiling;

he welcomed everyone, telling us that

we came to the right opportunity.

A part of his team sat down between us,

they were cheering and clapping hands

very enthusiastic about everything he was saying.

For me, that was something completely new.

I have never seen a work environment

like that before. Then, they showed a

video about a product, and honestly,

I do not remember for what it was

supposed to be use for.

After a few minutes of the video being played,

some people stood up and left the room,

and I just did the same.

My first MLM Network Marketing Company

I will never forget that day.

It was August of 2009; I remembered

I went to a Colombian Restaurant here

in Miami to watch a soccer game between

Argentina and Brazil.

Both teams were playing a game for

the qualifying to the soccer World Cup of 2010.

I did not have a place where to watch it

so I decided to go there.

I went in, and there was a chair

available next to a person who was

watching the game. He told me I could

sit down and watch the game with him so I did.

We talked for a little bit, about the

soccer game, our families, jobs, etc.

Suddenly, I saw he took a deep breathe

and told me “Diego, I have an opportunity

that can change your live”

I said “Ok, what is it about?”

He asked me for my phone number,

“Well, let’s meet in another day so

I can show you with all my tools”

I said “sure, no problem”

One month later, I did not receive

a single phone call, but I was intrigued.

At that moment in my life, I was 21 years old,

I was working in my full time job, and

taking classes at school, but something

in my mind was telling me that I could

work in something else.

I had a part time job before so I thought that

I could replace that part time job with this.

So I called the guy, and we met in a restaurant.

He started his presentation, and by half way through

my mind said No!

Until he said something that grabbed my attention:

“WITH THIS YOU CAN TALK IN FRONT OF PEOPLE”

I know for almost everybody,

speaking in public is one of the

most terrifying experiences of their life.

But for me, I LOVE TO SPEAK IN PUBLIC,

I had always done it since am a kid,

but I never had the chance to find

something where I was going to be able to do it.

My mom told me one day “I see you

talking in front of big audiences”

so that image came straight to my mind.

He explained to me how you

build the Network, how much they paid, etc.

Three months later, I was in!

I worked in that MLM or Network

Marketing Company as an affiliated

for more than three years, and I have

to say that Unfortunately, I failed.

Even though I failed, I learned so

many things with their educational system

that I have not seen in any other place,

except for other Network Marketing

and Online Marketing companies.

This experience helped me in:

– I realized that in order to be financially free,

I had to stop thinking with an employee mentality

and start thinking as an entrepreneur.

– I had to open my own business if I did not want

to receive orders from someone for the rest of my life.

– I learned that I did not need to work or open a business

the traditional way in order to make money, that nowadays

you can have an international business and work on it

from your home

– I can do it at a low risk cost, earning money from

the beginning even though I was not an expert.

– To keep working towards my goals and dreams

every single day.

– I became fully aware that the TV and other activities

just waste my time. Now, I pretty much do not

watch TV at all, and I watch videos that educate me.

Can be either to open my consciousness or about my

Online Marketing business.

– I did talk in front of audiences which allowed me

to master the way I speak in public.

– I acquire knowledge on that most of the products

in the future will move through the MLM or

Network Marketing Industry.

– I was able to travel to different cities, attend big events,

and see that a lot of people around the globe are tired of

working at the traditional way.

– I listened to financially free leaders who share with me

their experience and knowledge, which had helped me to

overcome several circumstances I had in my life.

And I do believe that this type

of valuable information is not given

in public schools, Colleges, Universities,

Traditional Businesses, and regular talks

with friends and family.

To conclude, my advice will be

that if someone shows you a

Network Marketing opportunity,

and it attracts you, and you see

yourself doing it, GO FOR IT!

Give it a try! Think of this new door

that is opening to you. If you keep

doing the same things every single day,

do not expect a different result.

You have absolutely nothing to lose.

Remember, if you fail, you will just go

back to the same place you were. Do it!
