The ways to generate traffic in 2013 are and will be slightly different, and you have to be on top of things not to waste your time on useless activities.
Generating traffic has never been that difficult, what is the difficult prat is converting it into sales.
However, let me give several awesome traffic methods for 2013 and beyond. Before I start I want to outline that no matter what year we live in and what changes Google makes backlinks would always be important. The thing is lately you have to build them with care, and not just shoot blind and get any kind of backlinks to your site.
Generate traffic through guest posting. Many people consider guest posting just a way to get instant visitors to their sites. While this is also good, the other advantage of guest posting is SEO. Contextual links you could get out posting on another site, are the nae of the game these days, meaning that they are important and Google loves them.
That’s exactly why I use Empower’s blog to link back to my site. I always have a high authority blog to post to, linking back to the posts on my personal blog. This way I rank pretty easy for almost everything I want(of course backlinking using other sources too).
And the beautiful part is when you have a blog like empower, you could always use it as a filter for spammy backlinks… what do I mean?

This way you could rank it and redirect traffic to your money site through your guest post. In addition to that you get a juicy backlink to your money blog.
Now, let’s move on to SEO for traffic. This right here is an interesting topic to talk about. SEO changes by the day and there is always what to learn about it.
One thing never changes though and it is the way Google wants you to backlink your pages – by getting diversified links. If you follow this and only rule you will always top Google’s index.
Lately Google’s been giving green light to high authority sites, and it is understandable. Marketers filled the Internet space with small, stupid niche sites that have no value, nor content. Nowadays you can build niche sites for your use only LOL. Except if they are build around descriptive, awesome content.
If you want business out of your endeavors, first build or buy authority, then get diversified backlinks and start getting traffic to convert into sales.
One built, authority is forever and you could always make money out of it in any way.
