Free Leads… And How to Get LOTS Of Them

It really boils down to getting leads, thus building a LIST over time. Tons of ways to do that, and I’m gonna show you a free one, which is a killer way of getting 10-15 leads a day if done properly.

I know you all have heard of craigslist, if not- craigslist.org is the address. Placing ads there could be an awesome way of building a massive list. But it has to be done properly.

First you need a killer ad, one that separates from all the dumb ones there. Placing just another boring ad, or an ad about how to make a million bucks in two days, is not gonna get any good results. Keep it real and simple.

A few words in there about what you got ( in my opinion- not more then 20), always a smiley face in there , and a compelling picture that reveals an interesting story. And the picture has to be clickable. I repeat…

As for the headline- nothing like: One million dollars in a week, or home based business bla bla, or this is how you get rich, and stuff like that. This is just childish and not serious at all. It has to be something more agressive like: Entrepreneurs only! or smething more friendly like: Let me give you a smile today, or stuff like that. The first one is my favourite.

And I have said this a thousand times, but I’ll say it again:

Do NOT fool people. Be real and never lie. There is no need to “sugar coat” it. If you offer is worth it, entrepreneur minded people will always recognize it… this is what separates successful people from the rest – they know when an opportunity is good.

A lot of folks out there don’t know craigslist gets html coding, and fewer know html coding itself. I do’t know it either. This stuff is for programmers, not for business people. That’s why I’ll even give you an example here.

Now after they click on your pic, you would want to take people to an awesome capture page, one that relates to your picture story. And again, the capture page has to be humanized ( a more human friendly one), with a real picture on it, and a real and simple message. And it has to promise people that they will be provided with value when they go to wherever you get them after opting in the capture page.

I know it’s getting a little more complicated and off topic with the capture page and all that, so I’m just gonna say- with EMPOWER you don’t need to worry about all those capture pages, and sales videos to get people to, after they opt-in, as they are all pre made for you.

And most important- those Empower captures and sales videos convert like crazy.

Enough with the ad creation. You now know the first and most important step of getting lots of free leads.

This is not enough though, this pic is gonna convert perfect, but only wen it’s at the top, or near the top of all the postings there. The first day is gonna be awesome for you, but after that it gets down at the bottom, as tons of ads are placed in craigslist daily.

To deal with that I suggest you place your add in jobs-etc section ( if you choose to place it in the jobs section- which is of course the best ). This is gonna help because everybody shoots for the big words when placing an add, like marketing, or sales, or business, so if you place your ad in the etc. section, or sections less popular like this one, you get much less ads to compete with.

This is not the only way to top-post, but to know the others you need to opt-in here. This information itself could get you a lot of leads. And those leads eventually will turn into sales but only if you have an awesome offer for the people like Empower.

Advertising on Craigslist is an awesome way of getting free leads… and getting lots of them.
