Wouldn’t it be smashing if you had say ten or twenty different folk touching base with you or calling you each day who are interested in your items services or business opportunity?

Do you not think you would have a completely different approach when it comes to “MLM sponsoring”?

Most people confuse recruiting and MLM sponsoring with prospecting. When you make a preliminary contact with someone – however you have make that contact it is “prospecting”. Maybe you met an interesting person in a cafe while you were having lunch, and you struck up a chat with them. You get to the point at which you ask them about their family, what they do for a living and what they like to do for recreation. If all goes well then, you can broach the subject of your life changing opportunity and the wonderful products you are marketing.

Or perhaps you buy common business opportunity hunter leads online and use those as the base of your prospecting effort. You pick up the phone and initiate initial contact.

This is prospecting, not MLM sponsoring.

MLM sponsoring is just when you have a system in place and you present that system to others who are on the lookout for an opportunity you set yourself up as the leader.

A MLM sponsoring system is when folk are contacting you by e-mail or telephone or through a social media platform.

They initiate the first contact and ask you to inform them more about your business.

MLM sponsoring has attraction selling as its basis and it is one of the things you really must master if you need to build a profitable internet marketing or MLM business.

So let’s return to the first question. How would your life and finances be different if ten to twenty new prospects contacted you each day to ask about your business?

Would you have bought a new car by this time? Will you have moved to a better neighborhood? Would you continue to be pulling yourself off to that nasty soul-destroying job every day? Would you still be chasing your buddies and family, would you continue to be spending hours on the phone cold calling people without results, or holding home conferences with a bunch of folk you barely know?

Oh would you be teaching your team a better system?

The difference that makes all of the difference is to realize that prospecting doesn’t equal sponsoring. MLM prospecting works but it will take time and is a pretty slow way to expand a business.
