Remember The Time Of Your Dreams

Do you remember the time when you were little and the days were longer and time was on your side? I remember one time, try to vision with me.  It was a sunny Friday afternoon, a couple  hours after school. My friends would be coming over to play, and the excitement still stood on my mind about spending the afternoon with my friends and plus the weekend of a family reunion to come.

Oh yes, excited wasn’t the word. The day was looking gorgeous as I inhaled and exhaled the breathtaking weather , the sun  shining to its fullest , and the wind giving a soothing feeling of freshness, and not to mention the joy that traveled through my heart. I was about to spend the day and a weekend with family and friends. How comforting it was to know that Saturday and Sunday would be even better.

Remember The Time Of Family Reunions

You see, every once in a while we would have a family reunion where all my brothers and sisters would meet and have a cook out and talk about the good old days and dream of better days to come. Their aspirations and dreams were never to fall short,  back then as kids and youngster no one feared the dreams that they had stored in their hearts.

The dream that they would describe would come as HDTV, colorful, clear and lively. The details in  their dreams were so descriptive that it would make one believe you were already living it. How soothing and comforting those moments were.

Remember The Time You Experienced Your Memories

Now you can imagine how I must have felt every Friday night, anticipating our family reunion. It was like waiting to see the best blockbuster movie, but living it in real time. Can you relate? Can you remember a time when you experienced a moment like this? Living the moment before it even took place?

I am pretty sure you may have, and if not just try to rewind your memory into your heart warming thoughts. Press play and commence watching that pleasurable lively movie of peace, tranquility, and dreams again.

Those dreams may vary for each individual but it’s still a dream that one day you  believe it will come true.  Remember the time when your dreams  brought your spirit back to life? It wasn’t the sadness that made you lively but it was the colorful joy of your aspirations that made you want to live the moment of sadness in joy.

Remember the Time of Your Visions

Some have accomplished some of their childhood dreams, but sad to say some of us tend to forget the dreams we had when we were younger. However is life worth more than to stop dreaming.  I believe that life is a dream that we make real based on the choices and actions we take. But there are still obstacles that remain barriers to our dreams and vision.

Real life happenings take over. Occurrences such as getting married , having kids, and not having the income we deserve are obstacles interfere with our ability to fulfill our child hood dreams. Yes most of the time it’s the affordability that has holds us back from living our dreams. Do you remember the time of wishing and hoping that your dreams will come true?
