What Is Google Up To With Gmail?

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

My google gmail account is offering me a ‘new option’, just what are they up to?

Check this out…  perhaps you’ve seen it, too.   Beware here, once you’re in, you’re in.  Don’t click ‘try it now’ until you’ve read this entirety!!!

First thought in my mind…

Just what are they up to at Google? What are they thinking? OMG!    An AH HA! moment…

As I’m looking at this and thinking the above, it occurs to me…

…this email format they are offering looks A LOT like a web page…   Another AH HA! moment…

WHOA… this would make the perfect solo ad! It’s beautiful!

Next step, naturally, I click on ‘try it now’ and here is the next screen

No option other than ‘got it’.  Read on…

I click ‘got it’.  It went back to my email main page and had a ‘new’ compose box down on the right…  I’m sorry, but this took me a moment to figure out that this the last place of the tutorial they just lead me through.  Dah!  Where is the cursor?!

You can’t see it here, but it was in the ‘too’ box.  The process was almost too simple!  I closed the ‘new message’ box and I’m on my landing page for email.  Happy, this is where I started…

Oh, Yea!  I remember, I wanted to send an email…  Dah!  That’s why I clicked ‘compose’ and started this whole thing!  Do you have moments like that?  Arrrrgggg

After some thought,  I’m thinking, “Ok, I didn’t really need a choice in this matter.”  After all, the last change they made, not long after I was allowed to go back to ‘classic’ if I wanted to.  But then again, I seem to remember that, after a period of time, I was changed to ‘their’ way, anyway…  just sayin’

Ok, so the end all is that Google is changing the compose message option to something that fits ‘everywhere’ why should I have a problem with this?  You are welcome to chime in here….

I should have a problem if I’m not using the idea presented in the above text that can further my business which is this train of thoufht:

WHOA… this would make the perfect solo ad! It’s beautiful!

Please feel free to call me if you need any more help with this concept.  (928)230-9499

Peace,

Nancy Holtzen
