When i sat down at my computer today I had no idea what to blog about.
As I’m typing I still don’t know what I’m going to blog about. I’m just going to type as the thought come. I was pretty frustrated when I just couldn’t think of something to blog about.
What To Blog About
I have a pretty awesome husband I really really love so much about him.
Have you ever noticed that the one that we love the most and makes our heart melt is also the one that usually pisses us off the most? Kind of like my mom, I absolutely love my mom to death. She would do anything in the world for me and my little family, but sometimes I just want to ring her neck. I am the mom and you are the grandmaw, lol, I’m sure you have been there. I wouldn’t trade her for the world though. Mark, my adorable hubby, I wouldn’t trade him for the world either.
When I met him I fell in love with the qualities that he has that I wanted to be more like. A year later I came to find out that he had fallen in love with the same things about me. He saw things in me that he wanted to me more like. We are such opposites, but yet at the same time we are like a match made in Heaven.
I’ll Blog About Something
Have you ever known in your mind that you have everything you need but yet it all still seems like it just isn’t enough or maybe isn’t good enough? Back when we had lost our home that I had lived in for 10 years, the only home that my kids had lived in, i was pretty heartbroken. It was 2300 sq ft with a completely finished basement and big back yard and dadadadadada. We couldn’t really afford much then so we moved into a home that was 1280 sq ft, and very small yard and needed a lot of work. Ever seen that movie The Money Pit? Yeah, that’s what we had bought.
In our first 2 months there the dishwasher went out, we fixed the water heater twice and found black mold growing in the closet in my bedroom. Had to rip out the walls and drywall all of it, also fixed a bunch of leaks in the roof and did some electrical work.
Before that a drunk drive hit my car on a Saturday afternoon, and I was without a vehicle for several months. With plans to buy one when our tax money came in…the IRS intercepted our tax return due to a home that my husband had been foreclosed on over 10 years ago.
I’m Blogging About Something Now
See where I’m going with this? This is what I wanted my kids to have to be raised in. People in my family younger than me were buying nice new houses and lake property and boats and it seemed like I was falling farther and farther behind.
Which these few things made me start getting depressed and I started being hateful with my husband. And without actually coming out and saying it was making my husband feel like he wasn’t good enough and I didn’t want him anymore. So I was ruining other parts of my life, and it was kind of like I was doing it subconsciously.
I mean, I really do believe that in life, including business, will be good or bad based on your mind set.
My Man Set Me Straight
My husband fixed me. I’m telling you, this man is just a totally amazing man, I just don’t know any other way to express it besides using the work amazing.
He reminded me that these things here on earth are things that don’t actually mean anything. When I get to the gates of Heaven, God isn’t going to ask me how big my house is or what kind of car I drive. He reminded me that all these things are just temporary.
Mark asked me if God wasn’t doing good enough for me. Oh my goodness, that really made me wake up. Of course God is doing good enough, He is God and He knows exactly what I need, what I can handle, and what is coming to me in my future.
Then I saw something, it said…
God gives his toughest battles to his strongest warriors.
Well, then God must think I’m a badass! LOL
What To Blog About
At the beginning I didn’t know what to blog about. This blog turned into telling you that the people in your life that love you will teach you so much and help you through anything, you just have to listen. And to tell you that in life, it doesn’t really matter what you have; you should be thankful for the roof over your head and the food on your table and for those around you that love you.
