3 Tips in becoming more profitable

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Whats going on ya’ll, this is Mo coming in… I created this post to give 3 essential tips to help your business or life; effiecieny.
Do you find yourself not knowing what to do next? Guru to Guru telling you the next step to take which just leads you into spending more money?

Or you just flat out don’t know what to do next with your business or whatever your doing.

This has happened to me many times, and after fucking up so many times I realized that hey, I gotta focus on me before I can focus on the world outside of me. We hear it all the time don’t we?

1. Knowing your weaknesses

War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.
-George Ordell

Honestly not knowing your weaknesses just slows you down. I’m currently also working on this as well. I’m somebody that continued to avoid learning my weaknesses, just because of my ego. I was scared, I didn’t want to feel weak, or vulnerable. But, as I looked at my weaknesses I learned that you need other people who are strong where your weak. Then you can focus on your strengths. Practicing your strengths lead to drastic improvements, focusing on your weaknesses lead to small incremental improvements.

Learn your weaknesses; and then focus on your strengths and accept them because knowing your weaknesses in iteself is a strength. Look at BosiDNA Take the test and post your results… I got a BO. Hopefully I don’t ruin any relationships… haha

2. Don’t be such a perfectionist

Ready, Fire, Aim

It’s completely health to have some perfectionism in you. But too much is just terrible. You become a procrastinator and end up coming up with excuses to continue to delay whatever you are trying to launch. The sooner you stop procrastinating the sooner you can get real feedback- a second perspective is what you need.

Going as you go let’s you see what you currently need to work on, if everything is in your head it’ll stay in your head. Do a damn spell check, code check, whatever check and press “GO” because the longer you wait the longer it will take for you to get checks.

Now if your extremely Passionate about something and you want it to be completely perfect you need somebody either working with you to help set dead-lines or milestones. You need a mentor to help guide you through whatever you are doing. Or just a great peer who can help give that extra perspective to help validate or fix whatever needs to get fixed.

3. Be customer oriented rather than you oriented

A lot of people look at themselves when they should be looking at their customer. Are you the one buying your product or service? I hope not.

You need to be problem-oriented. Because if you have a big enough problem to fix, customers will just give you their credit card. They’ll sell you on why you should let them buy.

Do not let your ego get in the way of your business because than you will be out of business. You need to find out whart the customer wants. That doesn’t mean change your business to every little problem your customer has, but you should be looking for the biggest problems in your target market because that will target abundance into your pockets. $$$$$

We often try to fix our problem. I’m a college student and the first “ideas” I think of relate to other college students.  Try to expand awareness – perspective. Everyone in this planet is not like you!
