Plan or Lack of A Plan For The Future
I say the lack of a plan because of me. Remember that saying “We don’t plan to fail we just fail to plan.” That might not be exactly right but you can understand what I am saying.
Well I am one of the people that failed to plan, I am most likely not the only one and I hate to be writing about this now. The reason I am is that I hope to reach someone else while they are still young enough to plan.
I will admit that I feel the need to blame someone, however as I grew older I became someone who did not take into consideration how things would be when I reached my sixties. I was a non planner, never set goals, never wanted to strive for anything. Now I am paying the price.
I might not have expressed myself very well in the video, however I did state that I failed to plan for the future.
I am just being honest as to what I have done. The whole point of this is without a plan what will happen. I now plan things that I must do on a daily basis, I have started setting goals and am determined to keep going forward with each new day.
Plan For The Future…Plan For Success
Here are a few suggestions on planning for a successful future.
- Go to a quite place. where you can think without being interrupted.
- Go through your life thorougly, What is your gift? What do you want to be in the future? What is your passion? ( something you would love to do even if you were not getting paid to do it)
- Write it down. Most people that achieved their goals and dreams did so by taking the first step towards achieving them when they wrote them down.
- Plan a route to get there. Write down whatever it will take you to reach your dream.
- Put that piece of Paper where you can see it and remind yourself of the goal.
- Work your plan. Put it into action by following the route to your dream. It may mean adjusting a lot of things in your life but it will be worth it one day.
- Start a savings account and deposit 25% of your monthly income. Then when you need to buy a car, etc, you’ll already have a lot of what you’ll need.
- Dismiss negativity and begin to speak your future into the present. This will assimilate into your mind and help you persevere towards your dream.
When you make a plan for the future it might seem unattainable and yet with the right plan and keeping in mind to set short obtainable and reachable goals over short periods of time your future will as you planned.
