Good Habits Transform You

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Habit: A usual manner of behavior:CUSTOM, a behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition. The Merriam-Webster definition of said word.

Habits or mannerism’s are formed over a period of time as we grow. Some are instilled in us by the people we associate with also. Some habits are created by ourselves and after awhile they become rote.

Now there are good habits and bad habits, I won’t go into any further explanation on that suffice it to say we all know we have them. Some have more bad than good and some have more good than bad. Needless to say we all have a habit.

This is a good explanation of Habit:

To say over the years that I have acquired a lot of bad habits is an understatement. I am sure there a number of people out there that can relate. One of them was playing online games, now granted even though it is a waste of time, I did play a lot of word games and some of those words I have retained. A good habit that I have formed is reading just about every day, mostly just before going to sleep.

The habit I would most like to change is the way I eat, and I know there are a lot of people that want to change that one. It just seems so much harder with age, if only I could go back a few years things my be different. I am also a diabetic so I really need to watch the eating, some things are difficult to change that’s for sure.

The good news is that for the past month I have changed quite a few of those bad habits, such as the online game playing. I now am in a learning and earning mode or habit. I have found an online business that gives me good habits, such as listening to people that are leaders and have already accomplished what I to will accomplish.

Focusing on goals to earn more, blogging on a daily basis.reading something from a positive point of view. Getting out of my comfort zone and doing things I have never done before, mostly learning more on the computer. I wake up with a more positive outlook each day and I will never give up.

So habits are what we all have, however they can be changed and I feel that I will be seeing a lot more in the future. Let me say thanks to Ron Mead for his insight on change.
