Become Empowered

Words can make or brake you, I am discovering more about this with each new day. I have been on a journey since I joined the Empower Network and this week has been about the power of words.

What you say and how you say it has more influence on what happens in your life more than you think. Let me give you a few examples.

  • Maybe vs Definite
  • Try vs Will
  • Hope vs Committed
  • Help vs Assist
  • Need vs Deserve

Those words may or may not make a thought or idea come into your mind. But think of this. Maybe I can do it or I can definitely do it, saying I will try instead of I will. Get the picture.

Since yesterday when I heard this on our wake up to success call , I have read a couple of articles on the same topic. So what it boils down to speak and you shall get what you speak.

Here is a better example if you continually say or even think I don’t have the money you will never have the money. However if you say and think I have the money or I will get the money, yes you will get the money. It is even better if you act as if you already have the money or you envision that you have it.

Staying Empowered

They say confession is good for the soul, well here comes mine. As you may or may not know I was having a battle within  my mind mostly and truly thought that quitting was my best option. It was not a very good 2 weeks I must say.

To empower yourself takes action and a will to believe in yourself. Anyone can change and become a more powerful person. This can be done  by starting to notice the people you continually associate with.

This man has become one of my mentors and I feel that he says it far better than I can, although with time I too will become similar to him.

Although I have yet to meet him and many other like minded people that I have become friends with via Facebook , they all have assisted and supported me through my journey.

I made things hard by letting the wrong words overtake my thoughts and actions. Are you someone that would like to use this platform to express yourself, if so please join me by watching the video up on the left side of this post.

Empower Yourself with your words, thoughts and visions to become who you were meant to be.
