Tips on How to Write Blog Articles Fast
Get in the Right Frame of Mind
One way to get into the right frame of mind is to relax. Now how exactly do you do that? Here are some suggestions:
Do breathing exercises
Just sit with your eyes closed and take 10 deep breaths. Only focus on your breaths and try to not let any other thoughts come across your mind. This is tough at first, because your mind will do anything but stay calm — but stick with it.
Visualize
Imagine yourself writing fluently and finishing with a sense of accomplishment. Try to conjure up the exact feelings you’ll experience when you finish writing your blog article. Engage all the senses you can — by doing so, you’ll make a strong impression on your subconscious mind and just be in the zone when you sit and write.
Warm Up
Don’t start writing cold. Not even your car performs at its best if you just start it up on a cold day then start driving.
You need to warm up properly. This doesn’t have to take long at all — maybe 5 -10 minutes. Here’s some suggestions for properly warming up to write your blog article fast:
- Read some other blog posts from reputable blogs. Look for the most popular posts and read them rapidly to get some ideas flowing and stimulate your mind.
- Do some journal writing. Grab a journal and start writing constantly for 10 minutes (you should be journaling as a writer — if you’re not, start!). Don’t think about what to write, just write mindlessly. Be fine with whatever comes out.
Write about What You’re Interested in
If you don’t have a passion for what you’re writing, then the process is going to be all the more painful. Stick to subjects you’re interested in — it makes it all the easier.
Have a Template or a System for Writing
Following patterns takes a lot of head work out of things. One of the most demotivating things is getting stuck on thinking about structure.
Create different templates in advance for whatever particular pieces you like to write and most importantly — make a schedule in advance. There is freedom in structure!
If you spend too much time thinking about what to write and how to format it, you’ll burn out your mental RAM with all that headwork and leave none left over for writing.
Write 750 Words a Day
The best way to get faster writing blog articles is to write, write, and write some more. I just recently came across the site 750words.com and decided to make a commitment to write 750 words everyday.
What you do is just write without stopping. Write whatever comes to mind without editing it.
It conditions you to write a lot of content in one sitting. The cool part about this free service is that it times you and analyzes your writing.
What I did to make myself stay committed to this was ask a friend to do this challenge along side of me. Try the same.
