Creating a positive mindset to change your life will give you better results than just thinking positively. You must say it too.

What do I mean by that statement? Too often, we think we just got to have a positive attitude. And that’s true in a sense. But you need to know how to change your attitude.

Creating a positive mindset to change your life goes a little deeper than that.

Do you want PERMANENT RESULTS as you begin to change your life?

If you said yes, incorporate these tips about creating a positive mindset to change YOUR LIFE!

Firstly, recognize that the language you use is very important and can determine how successful you will be in life. Too often, we say things that we don’t realize are negative and keep us stuck.

Remember that saying your mom taught you, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”? Well, we want to utilize this approach but go a step further. Don’t say anything at first. Keep silent until you change your thoughts. Try this to help when starting to change your life:

Start creating a positive mindset to change your life by:

1) Observing the words you speak and think.
2) Creating a journal, jot down things you say to yourself.
3) Determine if what you are saying to yourself helps you or hurts you.

For example, if you say these things or anything like them, you will need to stop:

It’s too hard
I’ve never done it before
You are doing it too.
I don’t have anyone to help me.
I can’t.
It’s impossible.
It can’t be done.
I’ll never be able to do that.
I am too worthless.
I can’t do anything right.
I am too tall, fat, skinning, old, young, dumb, clumsy, disorganized, dull, boring, shy, etc (fill in the blank with your words).
Nothing works for me.

The above phrases are not helpful in creating a positive mindset to change your life. Once you’ve identified the things you say when you talk to yourself, look for patterns. See how you react when an inconvenience or a problem arises. What are the words that you speak right away? Do you complain? Do you criticize yourself or others?

Once you’ve identified the areas that you need to work on, start replacing the thoughts and words with constructive and useful words that propel you forward.

Creating a Positive Mindset to Change Your Life PROCESS AND SUGGESTIONS

Continue this process by deliberately changing your speech even when you don’t feel like it or believe it:

1) Say nothing until you can think of something positive to say.

2) Don’t complain about yourself or others even when you think they’ve given you a reason to.

3) Focus on something positive and speak about it instead of complaining.

4) Use positive phrases when overcoming obstacles and problems.

6) Be appreciate of the small things at the end of the day. Just this step will change your life.

7) Speak as if you were already successful when it comes to challenges, hopes, dreams, problems, obstacles. Don’t say “It’ll never happen or work.”

A caution about step 7. This is a must do step in order to have success when you want to change your life.

Change your life now. Start practicing now. Creating a positive mindset to change your life will take PRACTICE. Don’t be defeated. Talk to yourself and then begin to talk to others with new words. Tell yourself what a great job you did at work, school or at your chores. These are the keys to success. Start hanging out with more positive people.
