Tim MacKenzie

Three posts here belong to Tim MacKenzie and the rest could have come from anywhere. His own are about starting, stalling and starting again: the opening announcement, a piece on running out of things to say, and one about succeeding at failing, which is the honest one.

The syndicated material is competent and generic. If you have never read anything about affiliate promotion it will tell you a few true things, including the point about telling your readers plainly that you earn from a link, and the value of running two versions of a page against each other rather than guessing which works.

What you will not find is a strong voice in those posts, because there is not one in them.

Twelve posts. Read the three personal ones in order, then decide whether the rest is worth your time. Most people in his position stopped writing entirely after the second week, and the record of not doing that is more interesting than the tips.
