If you are starting out I would say forget about paid advertising as posting daily blogs is going to get you the best results in the beginning and it is one of the most important tasks you need to do daily for building your business.
If you are blogging to make money from building your business then this can be very tiring so you will need plenty of inspiration. This is not going to be a get rich quick scheme but once you have made a good start and making a bit of money you can then think about putting your money back into your business for paid advertising.
What You Will Gain From Daily Blogging
- Gain Recognition – The more you blog the more you will get your presence recognised online and if you are using a blogging platform you will have everything set up for you so that all you have to do is your daily blog. You will be able to share your blog posts on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Myspace etc. Where you will find that people will share your posts with others and so on giving your more recognition while building your business.
- Trust – If you continue to blog daily and offer good value and content you are going to gain the trust of any visitors to you site, which eventually will increase your marketing effectiveness.
- More Traffic – The more you blog the more you are going to get traffic to your blog post. Search engines love these blogs as if they are updated on a consistent basis you are going to see more traffic visiting your blog pushing you higher into the search engine pages. If you maintain your blog consistently they can become like a magnet to traffic.
- Get Your Site Validated – If you are getting a lot of interaction on your site you should receive a lot of comments and this is what a lot of visitors will be looking for to see if it is worth reading the content. All the comments that are left for you are a type of ‘social proof’ validating that the blog is well worth reading. You will have your own special ‘library’ of categories which visitors are going to check out what you have been blogging about and see how you are building your business.
- Returning Visitors and Sales – This is what you are aiming for! You want your visitors to return to your site and make a purchase. It could be an affiliate product or you could have a primary business but what everyone wants is sales. Or you might just want to be building an email list to your autoresponder where they will join your list and then you can email out your product that you are selling.
The above tips are small but very important if you want to make a living from blogging. You will see your site grow daily if you keep up the consistency and don’t give up. As I said earlier this is not a get rich quick scheme although some people have made sales with their first blog post.
