After The Empower Network Relaunch
Empower Network originally launched on October 31st 2011. Empower came out of the gate like a bullet and hit the money train for many internet marketers globally, who never made a penny online previously.
Many marketers are also bloggers, therefore the Empower platform was a no-brainer for them. Online Marketers who were blogging for free before were now getting instant cash payments into their accounts by blogging and marketing their Empower Network blog posts.
But unfortunately, because we are dealing with technology there were some major problems with the system and the whole process. There were major server crashes that put everyone out of commission for several days. Not to mention the fiasco with merchant accounts being shut down left, right and centre. Quite frankly the merchants were not accustomed to, and obviously unable to handle receiving the high volume of over 400 applications every day.
And additionally, there were many people who joined Empower Network but did not take the time to really understand the compensation plan. These same people with their limited understanding went out and spread the wrong information about how the compensation plan works, which led to confusion and misleading information.
During the first launch I couldn’t open social media without seeing someone posting or talking about the Empower Network, and seeing blog posts everywhere. Promotion was fast and furious up until the servers crashed. Then, David Wood and David Sharpe put their resources to work fast, and built up the servers as well as the backups to ensure that the servers are able to handle the volume.
Empower Network enrolled over 10 thousand people within the first 30-45 days during the first launch, and estimated 30 thousand customers per month after they re-launched in March 2012. With so many benefits for it’s customers including the ready-made SEO optimized blogging platform, the top-notch marketing training and so much more, 30 thousand customers per month does not seem like a far-fetched goal for this community.
Thankfully, now merchant accounts are no longer a requirement to join Empower Network. This means no more long applications, or long waiting on approvals. It also means no 6 month contracts and no early cancellation fees. This is great news, because the merchant account is one of the major hurdles that kept a lot of people from joining Empower.
Instead, they’ve found an alternative solution called e-wallet, which is going to bypass all the headaches of the major corporations out there who simply don’t understand and are intimidated by our industry.
Despite all of the hiccups and hurdles that Empower Network endured, during the launch almost 10 thousand people joined. A lot of the people who joined and earned commissions within days of joining had never earned a penny online before. That is a great testimony for this platform, because we always hear about how much the ‘gurus’ make on systems. Over one million dollars in commissions were paid out during this short period of time.
Empower Network re-launched March 12, 2012 and the marketers and bloggers who stayed the course are positioned themselves to take advantage of the next wave that hit. If anyone let their membership go into inactive status then that was the time to reactivate so that they didn’t pass up those commissions that were about to start rolling in again. If you failed to do so, the someone else would have loved you for it! (commissions would then roll up to the person who signed you up if you are on inactive status!)
The upgrades, enhancements and changes were all done with the intent to create an environment where we ALL can win at this online money making game, not just the gurus. So dust your keyboard off and start blogging about what interests you, and follow the marketing trail because the future is looking bright with Empower Network.
