Only Certain Women Can Be Called Names?

Today I am going to ruffle a few feathers! MOST of you out there have never gotten involed in the political process, and I understand why. Its frustrating, you feel your not heard, you feel you cannot make a difference, and most of you are too busy just living your own life. However, if you do not get involved, and that means more than vote, then you are choosing to give up your right to complain.
A few courtesy’s please. First: Feel free to comment with your ideas, thoughts and PROOF of what you say. Second: If you feel the need to lower yourself to cursing at me, remember, all that says and shows about you is that your undeducated and have nothing better to add so you resort to foul language. Third: Please feel free to pass this on to people you know and get their feedback. Fourth: Get involved and help stop some of this maddness!
PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE NOT ONLY ARE YOUR FREEDOMS AT STAKE, YOUR COUNTRY AS YOU KNOW IT IS!
The first thing everyone needs to do is educate themselves on our Govt. It is OF the peoople, BY the people and FOR the people. Well, that is how its supposed to be! Yet because we have all sat on our duffs probably our whole lives, we have ALLOWED the Govt to become to big, to bossy and out of control. I could go on here forever about, by law, congress MUST pass a budget, yet we have not had one in THREE years! The Congress, by law cannot pass any laws that they do not live by themselves… yet they get a very lucrative retirement after just one term, they do NOT pay into Social Security, and they are NOT participating in the soon to be repealed “Obama car” have you ever asked yourself why???
What prompted me to finally write a blog post on this subject is the recent CRAP going on with respect to “name calling” and “attacks on women”
I will be up front with all of you before I start and let you know that I am an AMERICAN with a mixed heratige, AS MOST OF YOU ARE.. I am American Indian, specifically, Iroquios and Sioux as well as Irish, english and a bit of Dutch. I DO NOT go around touting my HERITAGE, although I am very proud of it. I am AMERICAN
I am also an AMERICAN who believes the principals of what this country was founded on. I am NOT a propenent of the Government handing me everything, making decisions for me, or telling me how I will live. So yes, I am conservative. I also donate MORE to charity than most non conseratives I know, both in time and in money. I believe in the Constitution as is, and the Bill Of Rights as is and yes I practice many of those rights, including the Second Amendment.
The only kind of prejudice I was raised with is that ALL people are equal, ALL people have the same abilitity to change their circumstances if they do not like them and that I am in control of who I become. That we as a people SHOULD help take care of those who CANNOT take care of themselves,, this EXCLUDES those who CHOOSE not to!
I have friends, very close friends, from all walks of life, from all ethnic backrounds, from all religious backrounds and from many different economic backrounds.
I do not change what I believe in just because it may be more lucrative or in my favor to do so. I am tolerant of much..and now I am getting to my boiling point..
My mother always taught me and I have always taught my kids, that you can recover from a lot of things, but once your known as a liar your always known as one.. and the ONLY legacy you can leave is that you were a person if INTEGRITY, something that most, especially those in Govt have no clue of.
This leads me to my post today. As many of you know there has been a whole lot of controversey over what is being percieved as “An attack on womens rights”
What about the attack on “religous rights”? has anyone noticed that the left hand is waving and creating a whole bunch of distraction, while the right hand is where you should be looking?
Recently these two events have just bubbled out of control and frankly EVERYONE should be fed up with it!
First, the govt attempting to tell a religous body that they MUST go against their teachings and their beliefs to be “fair” So,, the good ole media spins that to mean, “your taking away a womans right to choice” ???? how did we get there? The media says this is about a womans right to birth control, and ALL WOMAN can get FREE birth control. Lets see, there is Planned Parenthood (funded in part by OUR TAX DOLLARS) who hand out all kinds of free birth control even to teenagers and children. Then there are schools where kids can get birth control for free. Many Bars have free condoms and machines in bathrooms for them as well. Then there is a place in EACH TOWN, called a CLINIC where people can walk in and get birth control either FREE or a sliding scale depending on income.
So,,, why does the govt feel the need to mandate to religous agencies that they WILL supply birth control??? OH WAIT! when that started getting too much attention the other hand started waving and Ms Fluke pops into the picture and tells everyone that she and other women, who got into a top tier Law school, and who will come out of that school earning a min of 147K a year to start,, “testify” that “its a hardship” on her and other women who are in school (a private Catholic school that she choose and knew it was a Catholic school) and so the taxpayer should not only pay her way, but now we have to pay for her birth control. Maybe she and her friends could buy ONE LESS DRINK or ONE LESS MEAL out during the month and pay for their birth control. but MORE IMPORTANTLY AND A FACT THAT IS OVERLOOKED,, it is now a LAW that kids (young adults) can stay on their parent health insurance until age 26,, so what the heck is this really all about??????
Again, one hand is waving to get you to look while the other hand is doing its best to interfere with the RIGHTS of a PRIVATE Religous School and eventually YOU!
You cannot let yourself be distracted by the rhetoric that is there purposfully to keep you from noticing what the real plan is.. so KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL! This is NOT ABOUT WOMENS RIGHTS TO BIRTH CONTROL.
Now, over the past few weeks Rush Limbaugh has been torn apart for a bad mis statement even after he pulicly made an apology ( how would you like to be treated like he has) and Obama comes out and goes off about “name calling” and how it has “no place in the public discourse” I AGREE!!! He then goes on to say that he is going to “LEAD BY EXAMPLE” REALLY?????? now,, he gives this nice warm speach, invoking his daughters, whom I wish nothing but the best for, and says he does not want them afraid to say things or speak their mind or be involved and have to be called all kinds of names.. then he turns around and accepts and KEEPS 1 million dollars from one of the most VILE CREATURES on earth.. OH WAIT,, maybe I missed it.. Bill Maher is a COMIC, so that makes it ok, for him to not only call WOMEN the worst of the worst names, but to also go after their kids, and their children with disabilities. WHERE IS YOUR “LEAD BY EXAMPLE” ON THIS MR OBAMA? why have you not PUBLICLY condemned Mr Maher?? Why have you not called the other women he has called so many vile names I will not even type them? More importantly, WHY are you calling any of them??? why dont you “lead by example” and tell Mr Maher where to put his money! now that would be the HUMAN and DECENT and MORAL thing to do!
Have we become so callous that we think its ok to call certain women names but not others? THIS IS NOT COMEDY MR MAHER AND YOUR AN IDIOT!! again I ask, where is your outrage people? you stand up with your signs, you post on social media, you rant and rave about a comment taken out of context and then an apology, but you say nothing when its Ms Palin, her son, her daughter, her grandchild, you say nothing when its a wonderful fox news comentator. This IS Bigotry! The best part is,, each of us has the POWER TO STOP IT.. You ask how? easy,, QUIT WATCHING MR MAHER! I do not care how funny you might THINK he is.. imagine if you will, if it were you, or your child or someone you know that he was doing this to, would you stand for it? how would you feel if all your friends just laughed along with him,, even telling you “its just comedy”
Maher is not the only one out there! this kind of stuff should NOT be tolerated at all, know matter who you are! Many of you who laugh at this are the same people to yell and scream about bullying in schools,, what make this any different???
I would suggest you watch this and read the open letter as well, then come back and tell me you think its funny. Put yourself in their shoes and tell me you still think its funny.
