How To Determine Your Personality Color

Ask yourself this question…..but you must answer it spontaneously in order to determine your true Personality Color:

What Is Your Favorite Color?

This spontaneous choice says a lot about who you are and how you function and how other people see you.

It will help you to understand your behavior and your character traits. It will help you to be more in tune with your emotional, spiritual, physical and mental states as well as allow you to understand your strengths and weaknesses and how you deal with your life.

If you have more than one favorite color, that’s fine too! Often times we surround ourselves with our personality colors whether it be in the clothing we wear or how we choose to decorate our homes.

The reason we do that is because its those colors that make us feel excited and alive and those personality colors will allow us to be empowered to be our true selves…..hence showing our true colors!

As with any positive there is a negative. What if you have a color that you absolutely dislike? What does that stand for?

Having a dislike of a color often relates back to a time in our lives that were unpleasant, reflecting on our weaknesses and vulnerabilities.

Its suggested to incorporate small amounts of a disliked color into our lives in order to balance our energies.

Note: You may not see all of your character traits in your personality color….it may just be parts of you.

Take a look at your personality color(s) also keeping in mind the colors of your clothing and the colors in your home.

RED – Action oriented; deep need for physical fulfillment; experiences life through the five senses.
ORANGE – Great need to be with people; social; need to be accepted and respected in a group; desires challenges – physical or social – in life.
YELLOW – Deep need for logical order in daily life; expresses individuality by using logical mind, inspiring and creating new ideas.
GREEN – Deep need to belong; to love & be loved; to be safe & secure; needs acceptance; needs acknowledgement via a ‘thank you’ for things done daily for others.
BLUE – Deep need for inner peace and truth; lives according to own ideals and beliefs without changing their viewpoint in order to satisfy others.
INDIGO – Need to feel harmony and at one with the Universe; needs acceptance from others as the true aware, intuitive spiritual beings they are.
PURPLE OR VIOLET – Deep need for emotional security; creates order and perfection in all aspects of life; deep need to initiate and participate in humanitarian projects; helping those in need.
PINK – Deep need for acceptance and to be loved unconditionally.
TURQUOISE – Deep need to create emotional balance in life; need to have the ability to express hopes and dreams even if they appear idealistic; has to make their own way in life under their own terms.
MAGENTA – A non-conformist that sees life in a different point of view.
BROWN – Has a simple, safe, secure and comfortable life with supportive friends and family.
BLACK – Has a need for power and control to protect own emotional insecurities.
WHITE – Needs simplicity in own life; independent and self reliant; does not need to depend on others.
GRAY – A middle of the road type; cool, conserved, composed, reliable; conforms just to keep peace.
SILVER – Intuitive and insightful; strong connection with spiritual guidance.
GOLD – Radiates charisma, personality and individuality; makes others feel relaxed and valued.
