How is "The Wealthy Barber Returns" by David Chilton ?

I hope all of you had a safe and happy holiday! I ended up getting “The Wealthy Barber Returns” by David Chilton and I must say so far it has just been amazing!

So I started reading the book this morning, I just got it for Christmas from my Dad, and this guy is all about business and managing your money. And so far I am hooked! I just started before I went out this morning and I just couldn’t put it down! Until of course I was late and I had to run out the door! But it was totally worth it, I haven’t read to much yet but from what what I have read so far I can see that this is going to be an amazing read. Ill go over a little bit of what I have read so far so you can kinda get an idea. I’m not going to go into to much detail as there are a lot of things that he covers. He offers his Unique Perspectives of the World of Money.

In the first couple chapters David talks about the importance of saving your money, and shows you an idea of how much to save. He also points out the many opponents you have that attribute to your spending, and what you can do to avoid them. David explains how a person’s perceived “Status” can have a lot to do with how much a person spends. People want to present the look of wealth and they will go broke trying to do it. He then explains how the friends you hang around can also have an effect on your spending and how you can go about saving more then you spend. Another thing I found interesting is when he talks about how are brains are hard-wired to give in to the temptation of spending.

I’m leaving this really open ended because I don’t want to ruin the book for anyone who hasn’t read it yet. So far this is a great read and I would highly recommend that if you have not already read it, then go to your nearest book store today and grab a copy. You will not regret it.

I will put up a full review after I have finished reading the book. I was just really excited after reading the first few chapters that I thought I had to share this with everyone right away!
