Wayne Dyer The Shift

I’ve watched the movie twice in the last week.  It is one that can be watched over and over again before you take it all in.  The premise of Wayne Dyer The Shift is that we are perfect when we are in the womb.  We need nothing, we worry about nothing, etc.  When we are born and we are told what to do, when to do it, how to do it and we get boxed in.  We start trying to do everything, reaching and struggling to achieve things but never really getting there.

Wayne Dyer The Shift Review

The Shift is 2 hours long and you can watch it here on YouTube.

Wayne Dyer The ShiftDr. Dyer calls the time after we are born the morning of our life.  This part of our life is driven by ego (Edge God Out).  We move away from the spiritual being we were in the womb to believe that we are what we have, we are what we do, etc.

At some point the shift comes and things change.  Dr. Dyer tells the story of his first shift.  He was at a restaurant with his wife and children and asked for two beers.  The waiter said he couldn’t serve him alcohol because they has their liquor license suspended for serving minors.  To Dyer told the family to get in the car, they were going elsewhere.  The reason is that he was a drinker and did not want to do without his beers.  So they packed up the 8 children, got them buckled back into the car and went elsewhere.

When they got home his wife tried to tell him that what he did was wrong but he would not hear it.  He was after all right, he was the man.  The next morning when he woke up, he could feel a breeze in the room and could smell roses.  This was to become something that would happen when he experienced the shift.  He never drank another drop of alcohol after Wayne Dyer The Shiftthat last night in the restaurant.  He had been a fairly avid beer drinker and the abrupt change was totally unexpected and unplanned.

He goes on to say that when we shift we start living our life on purpose.  Which means that we are on task or in the zone of our purpose.  We know what it is and we live by it.

During part of the story he described the difference in men’s priorities before and after the shift.  He compares the mens shift to the women’s priorities before and after and they are totally different.

Wayne Dyer The Shift Summary

I would definitely recommend Wayne Dyer The Shift to anyone who wants to know what their purpose in life is.  It will not tell you what your purpose is but you will understand why your priorities change.  I believe I know my purpose and it is to help people get ahead in life and have the time to breath free and do what they want with their lives.  I have the tools to do that, to give them in order to live the life they only dreamed about as kids but lost as adults.

I believe I shifted before I was suppose to.  I was looking for and found my purpose years before I am eligable to retire and therefore I didn’t have much time time to put my effort into it.  That has changed since I’ve joined Empower Network.  I still have a day job but I do have time to work my Empower Network business in the evenings.  You see, it is a business, but to me it is a way for me to help others.  I fully plan to “retire” unofficially this year.  What I mean by that is I will quit my day job and focus only on Empower Network and helping others gain the freedom that working part time from home will give me.

Be sure to bookmark the movie though.  It is much better than I described it!!!
