Physically Disabled People Should Consider Internet Marketing
Physically Disabled. I never thought that would describe me. After my third bout with breast cancer, I was left with a broken hip which gave me an up close and personal look at the challenges that physically disabled people face every day. Two years later, I am walking with the help of a cane, but can no longer teach elementary school classroom music which involves a lot of jumping around and getting up and down from the floor.
With this in mind, I looked for a brand new way to bring in income for my family. After a lot of searching, I discovered internet marketing. Here is why the physically disabled should consider it too.
Physically Disabled People Can Work Anywhere
1. You can work anywhere
As I write this, I am sitting beside the pool at my home in Florida. Using a laptop and an internet connection, I can work wherever I please. That is literally all that I need. What other business can you start with just the cost of a computer?
Whether I need to speak with someone overseas or just on the next street, I can use Skype which allows me to speak to and see (if I choose) anyone in the world. And it is free if you both have Skype on your computers. Even better, it is free to download Skype. Go to http://www.skype.com. No I don’t make any money by recommending it, but it is a tool that everyone should know about.
2. You can work when you don’t feel well
Last week, I had a bad reaction to a medication I was taking, but I could still work on my internet marketing business. I didn’t have to get dressed up, get in the car and drive to a job. If you aren’t feeling well, prop up your laptop on the bed and work from there.
Nobody needs to know that you are physically disabled
3.The internet is the great equalizer
Nobody needs to know that you are physically disabled unless you choose to tell them. If you have faced any type of discrimination due to being physically disabled, you know how important this can be. It is very freeing to be able to express yourself without experiencing any judgement. On the internet, we are ALL able to accomplish whatever we set out to do without limitations whether we are physically disabled or not!
4. You are the boss
You decide what your working hours are. You decide what needs to be done each day. You decide the dress code. You decide where you work. Being your own boss is great. Its the ultimate laptop lifestyle.
If you are physically disabled, I urge you to consider an internet marketing business of your own. My advice to you is to find a system that provides mentors and that allows you to earn as you learn. Forget about magic software and the hot new thing. That almost cost me my business until I found a system and stuck with it. With a great system and great mentors, there are no limits to what you can do!
