It may be wild, but it is a dream that can come true with a little work and training.
An Internet Marketing Newbie Doesn’t Have to Be an Instant Guru
You have probably heard of the “fake it til you make it” theory. It can be good for boosting your confidence but it doesn’t give you authenticity if you are an internet marketing newbie.
Going around claiming that you have made thousands of dollars when you haven’t even made one sale is not only not authentic, but it is dishonest. People need to get to know you and trust you before they buy. Most people have been lied to by internet marketers and are quick to spot a phony.
How Can an Internet Marketing Newbie Get Started??
Dave Sharpe, co-founder of The Empower Network, has great advice for an internet marketing newbie. He suggests that you focus on building your value to your customers. Develop your story. How did you decide to become an internet marketer? What have you learned thus far?
Sharpe suggests that you focus on your first goal, for example, getting 5 leads. Once you have done that, focus on each small goal as you climb the ladder to success. Dave Sharpe says that generally an internet marketing newbie will focus on the top of the ladder rather than each step.
