Imagination. We all have it but do we all use it? Did anybody ever say to you: “Use your imagination“? What are the implications for internet marketers? What about kids?
Kids Use Imagination Every Day
Kids use imagination every day. When I was a kid, I had two imaginary friends, Polyza and Thank Lewis. Even the names show the imagination of a child. As an only child, I lived in my imaginary world with my imaginary friends.
When you watch young children at play, notice how the imagination factors in. In my work with children, as a music teacher, I would marvel at the songs and stories that poured out of their imaginations. It’s too bad that video games have created worlds for kids that they used to create for themselves.
I once listened outside a kindergarten class where kids passed the time waiting in line by experimenting with sounds that they could make with their mouths! What a shame that many lose this freedom of imagination as adults.
Internet Marketers Need Imagination
I guess that being a musician has helped me retain the ability to use my imagination. I create songs and plays from my imagination and love doing it.
Internet marketers need to have imagination to create a website, write copy and interact with others on social media. The more imagination, the better.
