The little things matter

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

I was recently reading an interesting study made in  Germany.

I do not remember the exact  numbers. But what I remember was that a large number of young men live a single life. When asked why is that, the most of them answered:

I do not feel  I can offer my partner something desirable.

That was not the exact  answer, but something along these lines. And when asked again  why they feel so, they answered:

My income is not high enough to support a family.

I am not a relationship expert, a dating guru or anything along these lines. Actually I screwed up many times already. I got divorced once. I split with with  my girlfriend and now I can see my daughter  just every two weeks for couple of hours ( I want to change it for more though). I had some short term affairs. As far as I  can remember  I never put money between me  and my girl.  And the money was short many times.

I am single at the moment and read some stuff about dating regularly. I love it. There is so much psychology behind dating, so much to learn.  But none of the teachers, gurus, relationship and sex experts talk about money. Quite contrary. They all seem to agree that money has nothing to do with attraction and sex.

Of course you have a slightly better chance, when being a man, if you can show status and financial abundance. But am I going to look for a girl who is looking for a guy with status  and money? Hmm, probably not.  And I believe most of the girls out there do not look as much for that anyway. They look for confidence, passion, life purpose, adventure, good sex, good conversations, long walks along the river, may be a romantic dinner or just a coffee with a cake, a good friend etc.

I might be wrong.  I know.  But that is what I found so far.

I also read somewhere that  there is a very high number of couples quarreling regularly over bills. Well reality gets us right? We can be in love, but when money is short, than money is short.

I believe if a couple is strong  together nothing will break them. There is a solution to every problem. And sometimes money problems only cover completely different relationship problem  that was not brought  to light. It is sometimes easier to talk about  money then about something deeper.

And one more thing. The little things matter.

I found this great commercial vid today about a dad raising his daughter. The vid went viral. It is about little things that matter in any relationship.

Cheers,

Maroschief.

P.S.: If you have money problems then why not trying something, like an internet biz. Nowadays so many people are successful online. But also many unsuccessful. It is important to choose the right opportunity online. I have found this company a couple of months ago and found out that it is a real deal. The best internet marketers in the world teach you nuts and bolts of online marketing. But join now as the offer might not be out there for ever. Get in here.
