Before I started working on the Internet I would read articles but I never would comment on someone’s blog. It might have been a great article but I never commented on the blog. Now as I am writing articles I realize there are some great reasons why I should Give That Lovin’ Blogging Comment.

Blogs with good comment threads are like a conversation, and the best ones are like Friday happy hour!!  It is fun reading the comments when the blogger has built and fostered a wonderful community. You know you are doing it right when the commentators start having a conversation between them.

Here are some Blogging Comment Tips to start creating activity within our blogs

Blogging Comment Tip 1

A great tool is to add in your blog is the Social comment plug-ins, this way it can be shared on Facebook and Twitter. As you know Facebook has more than 800 million active Facebook users, 80% of all Americans use a social network and Americans spend more time on Facebook than any other U.S. website (Nielson).  One person starts shares your article can bring people to your site. Install the Facebook “Send button” so it can be easily shared.

Blogging Comment Tip 2

Commenting on blog post is great way to be part of a community of follow bloggers. Bloggers love comments! You don’t need to have knowledgeable to the topic. Just commenting you enjoyed the article or something that you learned. It actually does take time to write an article and receiving a comment is very motivating.

Don’t Spam. You know who you are and we know you are spammers!

Proof read you comment. Also comment for people to learn a little bit about you. Be Professional and remember that you’re commenting online and every can see your comment.

Blog commenting helps you build links back to your site and these inbound links are important for your Google Page Rank. Your chances of people visiting to your site are greater. But don’t just do it for your own gain, participate with comment on other blogs will enhance your blogging community. Once you’ve established yourself as a regular you may see traffic increase on your own blog and some of his or her readers may start following your blog.

Find someone to guest blog for you. Don’t think of people as your competitors but marketing partners. It does not matter what you do in life, it is always best to become partners and friends in everything we do.

You can disagree with an article but you should be diplomatic about your disagreement. You might want to look over how you are disagreeing with their article. Once you’ve hit the “send” button it’s too late! You might want sure to recheck your comment for responses and also keep track of activity on your own blog as the conversation may travel to your site.

Feel free to share your own experiences and tips if you have something that is relevant to the topic, offer a comment and/or a related link to a good resource. However, do not go link, your profile already offers a link back to your site. The point of commenting is not to load up links back to your site. You’ll just appear to be a spammer.
