What is Jiu Jitsu not?
Now that we have seen what is Jiu Jitsu, lets see what it is not.
Jiu Jitsu is not a secret mythical martial art with thousands of years of history. Jiu Jitsu will not give you the qualification to jump high-reaching buildings or to fight 1,000 men simultaneously. Jiu Jitsu won’t assist you get into space or become head of state of any state. What persons may fail to understand is that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an efficient martial art, one that has changed, in the last 100 years martial arts, more so than every other martial art in history. Jiu Jitsu will give you the skill to put someone to rest efficiently, it will give you self confidence and it will most definitely humble you.

Jiu Jitsu in its purest form could be an option, if no additional alternatives are available, it can allow you to survive. Helio Gracie was recognized to mention if you can survive an attack using Jiu Jitsu, then you have already won. It can’t defend you in circumstances that involve weapons if you have not trained in self defense.
What is Jiu Jitsu and where did it come from?
Jiu Jitsu was given birth and bred on the avenues of Rio De Janeiro in Brazil, in part caused by the lack of police visibility at the time. Through the importance and effectiveness of using Jiu Jitsu as a self defense martial art, a person should certainly never go out planning to test their techniques.
