Here is how to make money from Facebook. To avoid obnoxious promotion and risk accusations of spam, make your pitch as one of ten comments on the social network.

All too many Facebook members become obsessed with making a point of having something to offer for sale. Most members of the social network are all about making friends and sharing personal experiences. Selling on the Facebook pages required some tact and correctness in a polite way to present your appeal, incorporate you message that you have something to sell into the subject at hand. Keep it relevant to the conversation. Throwing up your sales pitch is like interrupting a conversation.

Most people on the network are on it for promotional purposes. Surely hotels, inns, spas aren’t listed to gab and look at pretty girls, handsome men. It’s not wrong to try to make money on the social network.

The key to selling is to teach. Let us all know what you have is something to know about. Make it both conversational and a learning post. Next when considering a sale, realize and accept that you’re making a friend. Help people with your product or service, solicitation for patronage; and give some insight into what it is that you will be making money off. Don’t let people know what you will do with the money for yourself. lf you reveal your dreams and aspirations, do it in the social context on another post.

Think of making money from Facebook as offering something to your friends. Keep in mind you are friending people and teaching them something that will more than likely profit the both of you. Be clear and careful not to exaggerate or mislead what it is you have for the most of us that we wish to get to make our lives better. It’s social, be kind, informative and fair.

There is no end to what you can do with what you want to make money by using the social network. Keep a mental image of yourself as someone whom you would do business with to end with a smile and good feeling. Think of yourself in a suit, clean jogging outfit, current casual style; because the self-image comes out in words and with Facebook pictures are certainly allowed. Be ‘for real ‘so no false pretense will come back to you.

Make it easy to ask for payment. It is definitely worthwhile to accept ALL credit cards. The interest paid is a pittance to pay to make it easy for all interested parties to own what you offer for their money. It becomes more credible to accept all credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers; even post an address to accept personal checks.

lt would be worthwhile to have a business address in a public mail center to allow for a more one to one business arrangement. Hiding an identity is strictly taboo on a social network, for what is a social network but social. Hiding personal financial whereabouts is acceptable. Because after all, it is a social thing and Facebook is a social network.
