Ok,  David Wood has been holding this one back…

(not really)

…but I wanted to share his ‘Top Secret – Not So Secret‘ traffic strategy with you, for a limited time, but only if you act now…

The cool thing about this strategy – is you don’t have to know SEO, be a web developer, or have really cool, long curly hair to do this one – you can do it now, with no education or experience.

Pretty cool, huh? Over 1,333,288 hits this month alone!

So what’s David’s Secret – not so secret method that’s let’s me do this???   What is the ‘top secret’ SEO method that allows for complete, and utter online traffic domination?!?!?!?

The Two Great, Top Secret Laws of Massive, Instant Internet Traffic:

1.  Don’t be a dork ALL THE TIME.  Ok, so it’s cool to be a dork a lot of the time – and have headlines like (not picking on anyone) “Is Jumbo Weight-Loss a Scam?” and “Is Amway a Scam?” and “Is Numis a Scam?” (etc, ad infinitum of boring, boring MLM people”

However, it’s ALSO ok – to make cool stuff, that really is just fun to watch, entertaining, and (Oh my…) doesn’t even have anything to do with MLM – David’s famous videos Is there Poop in your Pancakes?, or my slap stick, ridiculous (and world famous) presentation The Ultimate Way To Get Money dot Com.

Let’s face it – MLM people are a bore most of the time – it’s all about ‘leads’ ‘traffic’ and this launch – or that launch, or Mark Hoverson’s penis – it gets old – there is other stuff to talk about, you know?

2.  Operate in the ‘Laws of Traffic‘, don’t fight against them.

The internet basically operates from 3 laws, that almost all marketers ignore (in their great attempt to out-dork everyone).  If you don’t know what the laws are – I’ve got a simple assignment for you – go to Alexa.com, download the tool bar, and spend about 5 hours surfing around the top 100 sites online – (ignore the porn sites, we’re trying to keep distractions to a minimum for a few minutes)…

Ask yourself the question – WHY do these sites get so much traffic?  The answer is simple – it’s because they are Informative, Social, and Entertaining (just remember – Vanilla I.S.E.)

The fact is – the top 100 sites online could give a crap about SEO, they’re there to entertain, connect, and inform the masses.

(primarily to entertain, actually).  You’ll find this half funny, half perverse, but Rupert Murdoch (owner of NewsCorp and one of the most influential people in the world) actually thinks that the news isn’t there to inform – it’s there to entertain. *

Entertainment drives traffic, and traffic creates opportunities to target groups within that traffic.

SEO capitalizes on traffic that entertainment and social media create from scratch.

So my ‘top-secret, not so secret’ way of getting traffic is NOT to target traffic, but to create it out of thin air, much like media companies do, and then market to that traffic through direct response marketing.

Want to know the coolest thing about doing things that way?

NO COMPETITION.

See, with SEO, or PPC – you’re competing in a limited market, but with traffic creation – you’re manifesting an unlimited market out of thin air – much like God, when, in the beginning, he said ‘let there be light’ and there was light.

Where from?  From thin air, apparently.
