Hotel Room Workout BodyRock Program

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

If you’re a fan of BodyRock.tv, the good news is that you can squeeze a short workout in even when you’re on the road. There’s a quick and easy Hotel room Bodyrock program that you can do. All you’ll need is a timer and a 35lb Ultimate Sandbag. Here’s a quick video that’ll walk you through the program. Remember to do as many reps as you can during the 20 seconds designated for each exercise. You need to follow the entire program exactly as it is, twice over. Beginners can use their own body-weight. As you advance, you can start using heavier bags. You can find the workout right here:

You can try to beat your own record each time you complete an exercise. Keep track of how many reps you are doing. Try this every day during your trip. All it takes is 20 minuites to complete the entire program. Take 10 seconds to catch your breath in between sets. Don’t stop until you complete the whole workout routine. You might even miss this routine when you get back home from your trip.

What to eat
When you’re out on vacation or are on a business trip, you need to remember to eat healthy. Nothing’s worse than losing track while you’re away from home. Think about all the hard work you’ve put in just to get the body that you want to have. Stay away from fast food joints and avoid snacking on junk food. If you’ve got a long plane trip ahead of you, prepare for it. A bag of pretzels isn’t going to cut it. You should pack some healthy snacks like an apple and a granola bar to avoid binge eating once you get off the plane or arrive at your hotel.

Fit your routine in your schedule
You only need twenty minutes for this program. Fit this in your schedule by making time for it in the morning or at night. If you have activities in the morning, try to squeeze this workout in just before you go to bed. If you’re free in the afternoon, instead of lying around in your hotel room, get your bottom of the couch and start sweating it out.

Use the hotel gym
You can also use the hotel gym to get some cardio in if that’s the sort of thing you like. However, not many people like hotel gyms as their equipment is limited. You’ll probably find a couple of cardio machines, some free weights and maybe some cable machines. If this doesn’t work for you, go for a jog outside or do some laps in the hotel pool. There really is no excuse for not being able to work out. 20 minutes a day for your body is not long at all.

If you want to stay fit while you’re on vacation, try this hotel room workout bodyrock program. Be sure to eat right and hydrate during the day. Just because you’re away from home doesn’t mean that you can let yourself go!
