Pinterest is fast becoming more and more popular. It’s a great place to post pictures, recipes, your favorite quote and even pin your newest blog post to gain valuable back links and much more.

I have been using pinterest for about a year and for the most part I used it as a place to post new pictures with quote on them and other pictures I take of my family activity. But what I did not notice until several months ago is that Pinterest is a great place to share you business and get more people visiting you newest blog post.

Pinterest is fast becoming the best thing since sliced bread.

Learning how to use Pinterest is very important in your ability to get the most out of it. I recommend you find new people and brands to follow as you follow people many times they will follow you back and then it begins to spread. Link up your account to Facebook or Twitter, and Pinterest will also give you suggestions for who you should follow based on your other social-media activity. By labeling your boards you will make it easier for other people to scan your profile looking for content that appeal to then to re-pin. They’re more likely to follow you if your board is labeled with a relevant label

Put a button on your blog to show visitors you’re on Pinterest that also gives your readers a way to pin your blog post easily. See who’s pinning you. Want to know who is pinning content from your site? This is a great trick go to, Pinterest.com/source/you.com. (Just stick your site name in there instead of “you.com,”) You can use this to know what’s popular on your Pinterest site. The people that are pinning your stuff are pinners you want to socialize with.

How to use Pinterest for SEO.

Use keywords in the names of your boards and the items you pin to make your content SEO-rich. This will allow you to gain more followers. Add a link to your website or business capture page to your pins. By pinning your latest blog post you can gain search results by using key words to describe your post in a SEO-rich way. Pinning your blog post also gives your great back links, especially if some likes your pin and re-pins it. For every re-pin that’s a new back link.
