Motivated by Pleasure and Pain

Pain has many names
Pain is:
Fear
Discomfort
Doing something unusual
Rejection
Fear is seldom removed from our life
Fear can be overridden or dominated
Fear is dominated by courage
Courage is not the absence of fear
Courage means you act in spite of fear
If there is no fear there is no need for courage
or…
Discomfort is seldom removed
Discouragement is seldom removed…
See the correlation?
Most people never make it to their dreams because they focus so much on the pain instead of focusing on what they need to do to get to the pleasure.
People that cannot get over the pain have not clearly defined their thoughts and the end result.
You see whatever you can believe you can achieve … If the desire is strong enough
Some people have the desire but not the determination…
What do you desire more than anything else?
Making 100k a year is not the desire.
If it was you would take the money and stare at it once you got it.
Most of us are stuck because we haven’t gone beyond that
You got to identify what are the things that will stop you.
Don’t want to talk to strangers
Don’t want to sell anything
Don’t want to sacrifice time or money
Don’t want to sacrifice friends or family
Here is the assignment to get what you want
Start with
Life objectives for (name)
Any time you are 80% of the way to your goal you better have a new one to start on. Otherwise you will go flat.
Anyone successful is always reaching for another plateau.
What is your 100k doing for you?
If you really knew your calling… 100k wouldn’t be enough and you will be motivated to action.
The picture needs to be so clear that you can see it and intricately describe it to other people.
How can you know its clear enough? If you can’t see your pleasure because of the pain then you need to redefine your pleasure goal.
To your empowered life
