Are you changing your life or is your life changing you?

Hello. For this morning, i’d like to share with you a vital concept in life.
I’ll make this short here as I have to organise taking our foster children out for the day.
It’s about your attitude to life.
Are you suffering through “everything life thows at you?”
I know many of you are.
I’d like to help you suffer less.
Dreams are a certain factor that shouldn’t be neglected. I mean by that, having a dream to reach, NOT having your night-time dreams anal-ised…..
The major factor in life though, is your attitude.
Be careful how you understand this word though. By ATTITUDE I mean precisely the “stance, or wiewpoint from which you face things”.
I would invite you to look at how you face your life.
From what viewpoint do you look at things?
Are you ‘set’ in a grouchy negative’? Are you suffering in pain? physical or emotional?
Are you rigid and fixed, for fear of change?
Are you so overwhelmed that you just don’t care anymore?
Wherever you are at, from which point of view you choose to confront life, your attitude is a CAUSATIVE factor.
This is great news, disguised though, which is why many people don’t “get it”.
A person is causeative over his or her own feelings.
It is you who chooses to BE in a certain way towards everthing that occurs in your life.
YOU are the cause of your own emotions through your decision of how you should be in any given circumstance.
Think about how you are, face to face with your life, and endevour to raise your awareness of your own negativity, and make it more positive.
We are faced with many negative influences around us and it is sometimes a difficult but necessary action to consciously increase our own positiveness, in order to gain the energy that we need to ensure that we can continue to create positive changes around us.
It’s a conscious effort on a continuing basis.
You can rearrange your daily planning to include spending more time with more positive people.
You can smile at yourself in the mirror when you get up in the morning.
You can look out at the world around you and feel grateful for all that you DO have, and imagine having more of the positive influences and happier things in you life.
Hold onto these ideas as you go throughout your day.
Take a minute or two in the middle of the mad rush, to think of things that make you smile and for which you are prepared to do whatever it takes to achieve.
I recall for example having to handle a tough workday with some beastly co-workers, but my day would be enlightnend my the smile and words of a partucularly joyous yound lady. It was worth confronting all the crap, just to have a moment to say ‘hello and how are you’.
It even makes me smile now, just recalling those experiences.. 🙂
So you too can fill your life with more of this and less of the “necessary” bad news that the media plasters all over your face.
Here’s a smile for you that I artistically created…..
Thanks for listening.
